K750i - What bugs have you found? |

Well I've had mine (SIM free from CPW) since Friday and have to say I haven't experienced any of the bugs people are talking about - especially the lock ups, although this certainly appears to be more common on branded versions from what I can see.
Only issues so far (although not really bugs) are that as others have said I find the earpiece volume a little low at times, and the other issue being that my Moto HS850 headset refuses to work at all with the phone - it connects fine but voice is never transferred to the headset and after a delay of about 10 seconds get transferred back to the phone. If you manually try to transfer sound to the headset then it produces a connection failed message. The HS850 works fine with my P910i and K700i so there must be something funny about the K750i's new bluetooth implementation. |

I'm new to this forum, but i have been reading all the posts here, i got mine from CPW (unbranded) I've had some the problems u guy have had, like the turning on and off with the white screen, the joystick resetting. This was all on the 1st day since doing the 1st charge its been all fine.
My mine issue is tha it dont link with my Parrot CK3100 like the guy below. My K700i, S700i and V800i have all worked fine. I'm guessing SE have f***ed up their bluetooth once again. Can a software upgarde sort this out? |

99% of the bugs are software related, so yes. It can be fixed with a software upgrade.

Pictures taken on my phone gets clearer on the right side of the image.. and yes I am sure. I did some test-pictures where I used self-timer and had the phone standing on a little table I took around with me outside.
I have no other problems so I'll just wait see if SE confirms the ccd camera chip and try trade it in later. |

Not yet. But I am sure it wont be long till they release an update. Lets hope they get online update-service up and running for this phone too.. else we have to go to a service-center to have it done.

I'm tempted to send mine back to O2. I'm still within the 14 day exchange period. A phone crashing 3 times in 24 hours isn't worth the hassle.
Could the fact my sim card is 4 years old have anything to do with it? I never had a single problem with my nokia 6230.
If the software I wrote at work was this buggy, i'd get sacked - don't Sony beta test their phones? I get the feeling they rush things to market too quickly |

has anyone tried the bluetooth remote control? It refuses to work on my pc. I've tried it on my home and work pc and none works. The S700 remote control worked immediately without a glitch. Also, has anyone else noticed that when you add a new computer the second time(ie you paired a bluetooth computer device previously), it asks you if you want to pair with this device and it gives the name of the new computer AS THE OLD ONE that I previously added. Should we start a new thread for bluetooth issues? |

Hiya A!! - found this great forum just recently and couldn't believe how many other bods have the same problems! I was sooo excited to get this phone yesterday and really flummoxed this morning to find that the phone had frozen at 04.20!! I decided to take out the battery 'cos nowt else worked. Since then the phone has crashed when setting a camera pic as the background and the shortcut (to the right) resets.
You people talk about firmware upgrade - does this mean something which I can download off the SE site (when it is available) and this should solve known bugs?
I bought the phone off a website and don't want to go through all the palaver of sending it back thru the post - does anyone know whether I could take it to CPW if it required a person to fix the bugs?

@jols88 - Yes. You should be able to download the new firmware from SE website and install it with the USB-cable you got with your k750i. |

Ok thanks for the confirmation - unless something major happens - I will wait for the firmware. |

I had another bug not mentioned. If I have two calendar reminders (two birthdays) on the same day and the alarm set on the same time. It only set off one alarm and only shows one reminder in the "recent activities" window.
But no lockups, I had one reboot when I wap:ed, but it only happened once.
