I assume the Sony Centre in the UK will start selling these too.
If i owned a sony centre, i'd want to be the first shop selling these phones.... [addsig]

Have you noticed on the official website (link: http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]10245&zone=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10245 ) that they will release the W800 with a Memory Stick Pro duo 512Mb from... SanDisk and not from Sony, if you look at the pic! Why won't they promote their own brand... Now people will start buying SanDisk MSD instead of Sony, as they are cheaper...

Wow. It's a nice phone. Definitely the best walkman ever. Never ever had a walkman so many features as W800i

I think these 2 new phones will support bluetooth v2 as SE also launched an accessory today which allows streaming of music & video from the phones to a tv over bluetooth, as far as I know only bluetooth V2 supports streaming of stereo audio and video over bluetooth special profile or something, all the W800 needs now is a stereo bluetooth headset,

Ooooohhhhh, Roll on Cebit I say, give us a P series with all that these 2 phones got throw in UIQ 3, large res touch screen, back lit keypad and wifi and we are in business baby.

Ohhh Behhaavvve SonyEricsson

Stereo Bluetooth is still in development. MMV200 is what you are talking about. Cool.
EDIT: Stereo BT is available but it isn't V2.

Has anyone contemplated on the fact that player can be used without the phone part?

Quick Q on the W800...

Doe sit use a regular headphone socket or are the headphones connected through the SE connector? I can remember reading something about this, but can't seem to re-find it!

Cheers,

W800 or K750....

Even better news. In an interview in a Swedish financial magazine SEs CEO Jan Wäreby, says that

- W800 currently supports up to 2 GB MS (the largest MS currently available).

- He promises that before christmas this year, 4 GB MS will be available (compatible with e.g. W800).

- They have used better optics.

- They have took advantage of Sony digital cameras knowledge to make better imaging software.

(In Swedis only)
