Glad to see this thread picking up steam. Am I correct to assume that ALL of U using WAP are Vodacom GPRS subs? I will also like to welcome the Wireless Monkey Man. I had visited Ur website the other day. Glad to see U here.

@brix25: Yes, there is. With the page open, tap "Internet" -> "Page Information".

Don't have that option on the T68i. I can view the page address and profile and the security status of the wap profile when going into "status".

The T68i has always been an interim phone until I pluck up the courage to part with loads of money and buy either a P900 or K700.

@brix25: The P900 & k700 are so worlds apart. What is behind the nomination of those two?

@AYA: The P900 is powerful, chances are I'd find it quite practical for work. The K700 is a good allround phone, the design is awesome. Only downside is that currently SE don't support SSL encryption so I can't use Gmail's POP3 function. I still live in hope that one day it will be fixed.

@IMHO, I wager the P900 will fit in more with your work & lifestyle as a journalist.

@AYA... I'd rather not walk around with P900... What would the editor( who BTW owns a 5210) think: "he's trying to be a shark amongst tadpoles"... Would be funny seeing myself with a P900 even though I can afford the device.

I don't see any problem if U are known to be a tech-geek. I had a cellphone loooong b4 my bosses did. I also got a camphone looong b4 they did. They all knew I write about GSM and I am the resident "expert". U will find out that U will challenge them to "upgrade". Which is progress after all...

That movie was actually shot around Johannesburg. The movie hasn't yet been released locally but I know it's been getting good reviews in the US. BTW, welcome to the thread.

@ADT0079: Rwanda is quite far away from South Africa ...maybe the same distance between Atlanta and Montreal. Off topic, my network is now charging just under $1/MB for GPRS...That's awesome.
