Something else I found will using these settings, which might explain y some people are getting charged. While I was using these settings for free GPRS I tried to open a web page from opera but it didnt work but I got charged for some reason. So therefore these settings are free for anything to do with WAP and will charge if you try to connect to anything associated with the WEB (even though you cant connect), i.e. opera, messenger clients, pop3, and any other WAP stuff. Hope this helps for those who are getting charged

Don't worry. I'll go in cristmas to Turkey. I'm looking from the O2 veb site if they are giving support in Turkey. I'll try at there.

how can you connect to web pages because no pages display on opera using the free PAYG GPRS.also are you able to access messenger clients for free as well?

@dekesh - not tried messenger pages, but can access all regular html pages with opera and builtin browser on p900 using pay and go gprs and never get charged a penny. This is also the case using p900 as a gprs modem with pc.

Opera works fine but it's hard to get it started.
Mine would never connect to an ongoing GPRS session so I always had to disconnect and start again. Try any page, it should then say connecting........-->connected in the box. When it is connected stop it and try again to load the page, this may take a couple of attempts but always worked for me.
Try loading google, it's quick and easy to load

O2 seem to be doing a lot of incorrect charging & subsequent refunding at the moment!
I bet your credit comes back

Yesterday free GPRS via Opera was working in my P900 even tho its a new o2 online sim with no credit but today it doesn't work if i click on the connection icon and look at the details it says it is uploading and downloading and you see the KBs going up but it still stays on the same page.
