Sorry about the blank post,

So, are we talking about debranding O2's k700's when using this multiserver thing, and after being able to receive the online update properly fron SE website? A bit comfused...Do we need any cables for that or just bluetooth? Any process steps?

O2 lastly said that they will be capable for SE online update. Few days left (they said 14 10 days ago). lets see... relief is close...i believe
thanks

come on man get with it!! read this thread from the beggining. well if o2 permit the online update service sometime this year then none of us users would be annoyed. i can live in hope for a certain period but if they havent allowed it by christmas i think i'll jus go for the debrand method.

Hello guys. I can only hope that someone will host the files required for debranding, updating firmware and language (hopefully the ones I need in my country), 'cause I've tried everything to unbrand and flash my phone, for 4 months now, and had no success, 'cause I can not update online, and can not get credits for total multiserver, 'cause I'm from Serbia & Montenegro. BY THE WAY, HAS ANY OF U GUYS HAD THIS KIND OF PROBLEM ? http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=73857
Cheers.

Ok, my blueyonder 30mb web space is almost full to capacity, my new domain will be active in a few days so until then I can only provide the EU1 firmware that works with the update service. Go to

http://www.dlfiles.myby.co.uk/k700i/k700i.html

Here you will find all the files you are looking for to debrand. I have put the decustomise file on there too as I have heard it is not on multiserver anymore. Speaking of multiserver I have put version 1.27 on there (the version I used to successfully debrand) complete with the original guide from iamcrunchie. Follow that guide and you cannot go wrong.

In a few days I will also put up the EMEA1 firmware, so people requiring that will have to wait until I get my new domain and webspace.

@GEORGIA REBEL

"Why is it bad livin in Serbia and Montenegro usin SE cellphones?"

U should try mate. No legal ways of buying them (only on the black market), no supports, no SE representatives or stores, and NO SOFTWARE !!!!!

Oh yes, and by the way, when I asked the guy who sold me the phone if he could decustomise it and upload the newest firmware, he told me that HE ONLY SELLS THE PHONES, AND DOES NOT REPAIR THEM !!!!

WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP !!!!!!

@ yellowbox

Multiserver will not work with the DSS-20/25. Apparently the multiserver team were working on it but I haven't heard anything since! For best results use a t-28 unlocking cable.

The usb device driver is for people who bought a non sony ericsson branded cable. Sometimes these cables don't work unless they have a driver that converts the USB interface into a serial, usually called a MAT-USB to Serial bridge so if you have a third party cable and you struggle to get it to work with normal SE drivers then this is probably the driver you need.

Or has it only got in connectivity "o2-->get settings"?

The o2 get setting feature is specific to the sim, if you put your sim card in a nokia for example the get settings will be under sim services
