The NEC E313 is a candy bar format phone technically very similar to the NEC E616 clamshell. Aimed at the budget end of the market the NEC E313 is nevertheless is a solid 3G phone packed with all features needed to provide a complete 3G experience. It is an excellent cost-saving solution for 3G networks and might be particularly attractive for new customers who do not want to splash out large sums of money on the phone itself. I now have had the phone, and just got it unlocked so I can use my O2 sim in it, nice phone with lots of extra ringtones and themes!
Just one thing, @orangeman - what did you do with this phone? I took it apart to clean some dust from behind the facia, and found loads of dust! It's had a little spring clean and is looking good now!
I've also put a battery cover on that was in a good condition from an old facia I had lying around - it looks much better now. I probably won't change the entire facia - I'd end up been too worried about scratching it!
