Is the first coat-of-arms you posted real? It's just that I've never seen arms that feature a woman's high heeled shoe before.

Our town was created by Bata, a shoe manufacter and therefore is there this schoe. Even now the majority of citizens are working for schoe manufacters. (I'm not)

Both appear to be oriented on Herne, the horned God of apparently earth and love, although that varies by culture .
Makes an appearance in quite a few old rites and legends, including several versions of the tale of King Arthur... which is perhaps why Monty Python used him too?
