hey what happened to this thread, did it die. am i the only one from san diego? atleast i'm not the only one from socal though. so i was just coming home from dinner doing 75 (because the misses was driving) and was getting passed left and right, and thinking, damn i love this state! do you know the speed limit in oregon is 55 and they actually drive that? i was just there for 4 days and wanted to kill myself.

oh hell yeah! as soon as the s700 comes out i'm gonna be the first in line. my contract runs out in october too. that's something that i like about socal, we seem to be ahead of the game compaired to the rest of the country when it comes to computers, cell phones and other electronics.

im gonna have to order the s700 direct from  cause t-mobile (i like their plan best, especially the unlimited gprs) isn't gonna carry it.

dude you don't have to buy it from tmob, in fact i'd advise against it. go to a cell phone shop and get it from there. you can still get it under contract and everything. it will probably come unlocked like the t616 did. if not, just the same shop do it or another for $25. i got my hook-up down here i bet that like down here, there's a butt load of shops in L.A.

I would advise against the T616(850/1800/1900). The true GSM freq.are 900/1800/1900. Att and cingular run those. I would go with the T610 (900/1800/1900). There are some places on the globe where only 900 is available, but if you use it mostly in the US you are fine. The lower freq are better quality.
