Coulthard's career in F1 is over. Or should I say, did he really had a career? |

I'd call 12 wins (to date) including Monaco is a career,or are you a part time F1 fan?

@jowi - Yes! @boyi is very much right there, if you'll just keep track in the past, David also made some winnings though not that much as Schumy's. That's why in this years race the F1 Board of Governors made some technical changes. Like for example, the machine/car that will be used for the practice/qualifying and in the race day itself will be but only 1 per driver per team - so, that will be just 2 cars for each team, unlike in the recent past where each team is allowed to have at least 3 back-up cars. So, meaning if your car failed/crashed during the qualifying, you will be automatically be out of the race day itself - that's my whole understanding of it mates. But I guess, again, at the rate the F1 is going this year (after 2 races), Schumy still leads the team standings. I guess there is really no way that they can put this great man down in the history of F1 car race. For the record, he already surpassed some of F1's legend's best kept records last year !

@boyi-sorry mate...im not a part time fan...im just not impressed w/ his performance & his 1st Monaco win was caused by a failed Ferrari's right suspention.

It was truly amazing to see the qualifying race yesterday via cable channel here in Manila. The new track at Bahrain was just truly awesome, full of white sand (should be, their place is in the desert region - Middle East). You can really see the how magnificently the track has been put into construction - they say that they are also the same ones who put up the old tracks in some places where F1 is being held yearly!
The qualifying race results put the almighty Ferrari team in it's grandeur standings - once again!
Pole position for today's - Sunday race (local time).
1. Michael Schumacher - Ferrari
2. Rubens Barrichello - Ferrari
3. Juan Pablo Montoya - BMW Williams
Here were some captured images during the qualifying session:

@boyi - If you are bored watching the 'qualifying' race, then what more if you are are to watch the 'practice day' race - which comes before the qualifying race?
In a way you are right there, but for me, I still very much to 'hearing' those V10 machines, 3.0 liter engines which can produce 900 horses rev before my very own eyes on television !
Let's just wait to see all those 5 red lights go - GREEN !

@jojo,i dont doubt it being a good race, its just the qualifying was supposed to be improved but they seem to have gone backwards with it,even Bernie Ecclestone admits that these changes are benefiting Schumi rather than making it harder for him, which is the whole point of the changes.................Ferrari's always upfront?
I am a Ferrari fan (im half Italian!) but i never liked Schumi, not since he rammed our Damon out in,was it Adelaide 94??? Then he tried it again in 97 (Herez,Spain?) and lost all his points that year
My point here is he should be 5 times champ now but he got away with it in 94!
Its a shame Senna is'nt still here with us,Schumi would'nt be the one with 6 championships at the moment,it would be Senna with at least 10
Sato did well in yesterdays qualifying, watched him in the F3,he's a good driver.
Btw,they wont be spraying REAL champagne over each other later neither
Damon,Spa 98
