They keep telling me six months before i can downgrade, the salesman said he is sure, and he even called me back to confirm it, i even tried calling your girl, she is never there, so you see am a bit confused about the whole thing.

@DREWMARK, My little episode may have annoyed them, because they all were giving different stories, just ring Orange, they should confirm it if you tell them you have been assured it is 3 months.
150 from an Orangee handset or you can get tthrough on 0800801080

I just called OSPS and asked "Wayne" how long it will be before I see a P900 drop through the old box... He says "Dunno". Then he says "Possibly a week to ten days, something like that". [addsig]

If anyone else speaks to "Wayne" can they remember to explain that the largest phone forum online has been been running a thread that is full of genuine honest customers of OSPS that have been lied constantly & had money taken against their wishes from their credit cards, this will show OSPS to THE worst company advertising P900's for sale & one that will be avoided by anyone readeing about these peoples experiences.

@Wayne, your company stinks mate !!!

ive only read half this thread so please forgive me if this has already been mentioned.

if potential p900 buyers are not bothered about purchasing a locked phone on Orange contract why bother with "onestop" at all?

I purchased my p900 at CPW for £62 on the 600 min Orange to Orange plan (me think thats a £50 plan). All i did was give them a screen print out of the p900 offer on the "onestop" website. Having not bothered to check that "onestop" had the p900 in stock, they signed me up there and then.

So, ive got the p900 from CPW rather than "onestop" at the same price, i can change my talk plan after 3 months rather than 4 and finally if something goes wrong i can go directly to CPW rather than pissin around with "onestop".

or am i missin something?

@parvski, Same here, my first P9 was delivered by CPW on 4th Nov, using a price match with OSPS (while it was not in stock there), can you imagine what kind of customer support OSPS will be offering to people that buy from them

Yup, were it not for the fact we are doing a corporate account through them and saving around £500 over CPW i wouldn't be putting up with these delays. Still if i haven't heard anything useful back from them by this afternoon i'm not going to bother chasing them any more and will get the transaction chalanged by my credit card company. They will record all calls so will know fine well that they charged my card without authorisation so am sure they will have a fun time explaning that to their merchant services provider.

Carphone not in stock, Orange told me they have recalled the batch they were sending out due to software problems, so they expect to sort it out between one to two weeks, I guess they are having problems because of all the silly crap they put on thier phones, so who will i listen to now?

@pachy, it was you who initally mentioned that CPW were price matching web-based phone shops, "onestop" being the cheapest. So i guess i should thank you for saving me a small fortune.

As for "onestop" customer support...well it comes close to that of the O2 network... once they got the sale they dunt give a shite.

@ariddell, to be fair, i do know a handful of people who have ordered from "onestop" without any problems. I cant say much in your case but im sure they will come through......... eventually......well, before xmas.

@all, do any of you know what happens if you change your talk plan before the 4 month period that you agree too as part of your contract when you purchase a contracted phone from a web-based phone shop?

Simply put.... a rather large bill. So be careful people!!

Back in April this year I decided to buy a P800, I ordered it from OSPS. Mistake! I posted this:

"Do not buy from these people, I ordered a P800 on Orange, payed £59.99, it arrived in a couple of days or so, loved the phone but couldn't live with the size, sent it back two days later, it took me 6 weeks, phone calls every day, and a threatening letter from my soliciters before I saw my £59.99 returned into my bank account.

Not only that but they also registered 3 other handsets in my name, coincidently meaning I had three new contracts each with three new numbers, on three different tariffs, to which Orange took three seperate new contract payments equalling upto about an extra £40.00. It's taken me another two weeks and further phone calls to Orange and onestopshitshop to regain the money that I'm out of pocket for.

I've had numerous phones from these guys over the years and their prices and offers always seem to be better than every body else, but shop with caution and know your rights, I for one will not be using them again"

I've had three phones since, all of which have been from CPW. The only good thing I can say about OSPS is that their prices form a good benchmark to haggle the price down at CPW.

To those of you who have already ordered their P900's from them; Good Luck!
