@ajack

Excellent mate, I can now use an equally as treasured app as yours (OggPlay) on my P800 now in FC mode. Well done with the bugfixes. Thank you so much, again.

Maaan all the fighting we had ended nicely with the release of SMan 1.2b . Both Droll & Ajack respect to both of u because now SMan 1.2 is compatible with OLD ICON. THANK U AND I MEAN IT THANK U. It is an amazing clean app that just gets better and better everytime u release a newer version. Thank u & i really like the look of the new SMAN we r moving pretty nicely. With my buttons & your app SMAN is now the world's leader in Symbian OS managing. The community needs people like us & people like our community that keeps supporting us. Peace Out.

ajack is quite right about why most developers avoid public forums. but, it's good that all ended well.

hope u guys like the work we're doing, and 1.3 is already on the drawing board.

Guys!

Bluejacking was reported in the news (BBC)... Look here...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3237755.stm

So I guess I get credit for starting it and droll gets credit for making the first bluejacing application.

Glad you guys like the new SMan.

I'm happy to see, you've released a new version.
I allready mentioned, but could you please extend the today view in the next release to show some more events (not only for today) so I can delete handy day and tracker from my p800.

Thanx for your great work,
gogo.

Pimp, I've got SMan 1.2a running right now. But, if I want to install 1.2b, do I have to:

a) Delete 1.2a, then install 1.2b? Or can I just install 1.2b over 1.2a?

b) If I want your 3D buttons, do I just install your file from Droll Software? Or is there a certain way that I have to install both your version and the original 1.2b file?

c) I tried to hit your link for pics of the 3D buttons, but its asking me for a log-in name and password.

Sorry if my questions are a little infantile, its just that Im not too good with all this computer lark :-I

Thanks

The answers to your questions can be found in the SMan homepage. You can get there by visiting this URL http://renegade.w3xs.com/droll.htm

Thanks Ajack.

I did go into the website but couldnt find any info relating to my questions.

But Im probably being a right tit, the kinda person who asks stupid questions outa pure ignorance and laziness. The kinda guy whose a*se I'd like to kick. So, Im gonna go kick my own a*se and then go and double check your website.

Cheers again

Ajack,

I've just finished whooping my own ass, and have also finished checking the Droll site.

Ok, I now know that I have to un-install 1.2a and then install 1.2b.

But, on the website, and the 1.2b manual, there is no info about how to load Pimp800's 3D buttons.

Can anyone please help a computer illiterate saddo on how to install the 3D buttons.

Thanks

@pimp800

I installed your buttons and I must adit they look damned nice. I am big enough to admit when I'm wrong or have gone too far, so please accept my humble apologies for insulting your work, whilst I may not agree with everything you say I do respect fine craftsmanship when I see it. Keep up the good work.
