Well said. Post counts are a load of tosh and no measure of ones contributional effort or credibility. We need other reward schemes here, something that will prevent people from posting rhetorical nonsense and assorted other tripe.

Don't worry though, in the post apocalyptic Esato, MixiN, switchbitch, masseur and myself will carry on with civilisation as best we can. That is of course until I decide that I should be in charge, lead a revolt against masseur, which eventually results in a stalemate forcing me to construct an alternate reality, in which MixiN and switchbitch are held, whilst masseur and myself battle it out in this alternate reality for control of Esato. They could make a film of this ...

Joking aside, I think it's a good idea for us to have some sort of system to reward those members whose posts are of a consistantly high quality and/or who help other members with their problems. It would give members incentive to increase the quality of their posts, cut out a lot of rubbish that might otherwise have been posted, promote helping other members and allow newbies to identify those more established members who are best able to help them with their problems.
