Good to see that the two of you have good taste's in mobiles and games
Mark or ed, can either of you tell me the process/cost of me getting mine chipped (i want to wait while they do it, just wanna know a good price i should pay, as i know a few shops?) and then getting the games (you mentioned downloading them)? via PM, email or post here with the reply.
I am planning on buying Matrix, RTCW and MotoGP2 this afternoon, which should cost less than 80, so if chipping my system etc is cheaper and allows me to get more games, then i may do it that way

yeah mark, thanks for the info, but i heard that you wont be able to play online if you get it chipped, so i might give it a miss (how much for the 120gb HD, did you fit it?).
@ed, Mario was excellent at first, then i got about half way through, and got seriously bored Shame, as i have heard Zelda is meant to be really good, but cant be arsed to buy games for my GC.

You can play online games with a chipped Xbox, You have to get a switch that turns the chip on when not online and off when you are,
If you open the Xbox it's just like a PC, DVD drive, Processor, Memory, Hdd. Un plug the old one and put in the new, It's maybe not as easy as that as you have to use a special piece of software.

In total then, how much have you paid to get it chip, the HD etc (50 games is quite alot, how much memory for 1 game? would a 80gb HD be ok?)?

Serious, thats quite a bit of money (to get the DVD-RW and HD), but you already copied a few games yeah? You need the DVD-RW to store the game on, then transfer to xbox, or is there a way to transfer to HD without the dvd disk? |

I suppose you could connect the HD to your PC and transfer the files from your main HD to the Xbox HD then reconnect it into your X-box.
