Saw somewhere that module from LG innotek requires very small sensor to fit. Obviously I'd like to have up to 200mm but not if they have to use something like 1/3.6", 1/4" or 1/4.4". Better having 125mm but with 1/2.9" for example. |

Well the cpu is an octa core, using kryo 260 cores, with 4 cores at 1.8Ghz and 4 at 2.0 Ghz. GPU is the Adreno 610, which is basically the Snapdragon 665, except the ZX walkman SoC lacks the LTE modem. The walkman also has 4GB of memory, like 10 II.

New Walkmans are really huge imporovement in sound compared to previous Android and Linux models. ZX now features hardware stuff found in WM1A. They redesigned the UI for the first time in six years. I have a hard time beliveing they have two separate Android teams for both Xperia and Walkman.

NW-A306 costs the usual affair for A Walkmans at $400. About 50 more than the previous A100 which was 100 more than A55. So far there is no info if ZX700 will be available in either US or EU. |

Looks like sony is confirmed at MWC. This means that spec list of 1v must be true because there was mention of being announced there.
If periscope goes back to 70-105mm, I give up .... |

Oh I didn't want to even include them, Android TV is such a sad affair across the board. Just plain and horrible UI for a TV set no matter the manufacturer. I had BRAVIAs for a very long time and Sony's original UI was freakin lovely looking and functional. It was slow as hell due to cheap soc inside. Once they transitioned to Android they kept some of their own UI flavor with them but as update after update came they went to stock Google pretty much and they lost functionality. Incremental tracking of local files is a sore now. Some stuff has been removed and so on. I mean why replace Morph play to pause button graphics in the first place? What did graphics ever do to you  |

Sony is confirmed at mwc..
There is weibo post (I think it was later posted on reddit), person claims to have seen 1 v and could not tell it apart from mark 4. Also Zack posted on his weibo while ago he believes phone has same dimensions to keep using same accessories.
Basically mark 5 seems to be mark 4 with few new components. Nothing more.

the poster said its both phone and mirrorless(quality ?). that could be hint to LYTIA technology . The resized photo quality really seems damn good.
