After using Arc (Arc S & TL), and using NXT (S & P), and now the Z series with it's omni balance, I really like it, and hope it's here to stay tweaking it design wise from generation to another. But hope not completely new design language
ОТ: I have to admit Arc design is superior in usability and comfort than any other design language.
Holding Xperia V and Xperia Z1Compact with almost the same sizes you can be easily tricked that Xperia V is like some good amount smller even if it`s not. It`s not that slippery also. For bigger phones I think Arc design is much more useful for one-handed use and it looks cool too... but I doubt Sony will go back to older design.
Anyway I`m trilled what Sony will bring on the table for 2015 because I`m interested in next iteration of compact flagship.

We don't know exactly when will Sony start their 9 months cycle, is it starting from Z4, or after Z4
If it was From Z4, then it will be delayed till May/June
If it was After Z4, then it will be released in late Feb/March
...
I`m almost sure Sony will use MWC for Z4 just like last year with Z2 and judging by the amount of space they booked for the 2015th trade show in Barcelona - they don`t need half a floor for older tech I guess. |

If I could come with some friendly suggestion for XperiaJunkie regarding this thread it would be that the information in the first post if they could all be correctly capitalized instead of all caps, it would make it much easier to read. Just me nitpicking sorry |

10 years ago if an equal this discussion popped up about 4GB RAM modules the reply would be:
You can be sure to not see those memory chips inside the next Galaxy S, but I would bet on Sony since it is Sony....

Why would it be that Sony will fall behind Samsung in the RAM department, the S4 and S5 both hAVE 2GB of RAM while the Z2 and Z3 have 3GB. If anyone was to go to 4GB, Sony would be one of the 1st.

@XJ
Samsung just recently started mass production of those 4GB LPDDR4 mobile DRAM memory chips and I don't know if they can satisfy the demand since their own smartphone production line (Galaxy S6) needs a hell a lot of those chips and at this point I don't know which priority Sony has for them as a commercial consumer/buyer. But what I do know is Sony strategy of buying huge stocks of hardware (soc, rom, display) for attractive price and then using that hardware for a quite long time resulting in devices which don't have the newest hw build in. But I hope I'm wrong.
EDIT:
here's how LG's flagship outpaces the Z3
That hurts....

When i read this kind of comparison it makes me think that i've bought an extraterrestrial Xperia Z3.
(or just i'm not a lazy fatty writer from a sh*** website that know how to press onscreen buttons and try different settings)
