So does this mean that the Elm that I bought here in my country isn't really meant for Asia? Coz it has threaded sms view when I bought it from the store.

cause there are none of branded  phone available here in Indonesia.
which means there are no cheaper phone with contract here

@xclbr: reeflotz (also a Filipino) has a Hazel and he has updated to R7CA064. He said that the conversations tab was lost after the update because the inbox was erased. After receiving messages, conversations tab will be there. Is this the case with your Elm?

Question for my Elm: What is the latest firmware version for Elm? Mine is still R7BA076. I have not updated my Elm yet because the laptop that I'm using has restrictions from the company that I work for. I'll update someday (thhis week or the next) to the latest version.
@all: Thank you for your contribution in this thread. I've enjoyed reading through this thread and the other threads about Elm. Even without reading this thread, I have decided to buy Elm before. After reading some threads here (especially the "Post pictures taken with Elm/Hazel"), I was so amazed with the potential of this mobile phone. |

@petz: Mine's different. Even with txt msgs in my inbox there's no conversation tab.

Most probably there won't be a conversations tab if you update your Elm, it would be the same with xclbr's, I cannot guarantee exactly that what happened to my Hazel will also on Elm. It's weird though that the conversation tab gets removed

not empty cause it was loaded with some command for the phone to activate that feature

flash it to tpa/preset/custom

haven't try that cause when i look at some file in tpa/preset/default/restore, there is some command for the phone to hide that option.
But mine are showing it cause the western europe fw are having it enable by default unlike other FW region...
