Or in this case, any other phone with the same OS and UI (S60 5th Ed).

no no, people just dont think wifi, gps, 3.5" 16mil, 12.1mp, vga video, xenon, just to name a few, is enough in a, wait for it, MOBILE PHONE!

they want fry pans and ice cream makers

yeah phones might be more than just 'phones' today, but seriously though, you people complaining, do you actually spend THAT much time on your phone to care if it has HD video recording or whatever. Surely not? If this is the case though, i HIGHLY recommend finding a hobby and getting off the phone! Its not as if your battery is gonna last you very long anyway if you use all these features non stop. Satio is more than capable of doing all the things you want.

Its a bloody phone, get over it!

Rant over

No im not supporting , well in this case i am with satio, but this is about phones in general too!

Stereo Speakers - Oh no, Satio does not have 2 speakers, quick guys, run to the hills!
Capacitive Display opposed to Resistive - Clearly a personal choice this one
Proper 3.5mm headphone jack - Really not that big a deal!
Micro-usb slot - A lot of phones dont have one, so what?
Scratch-resistant tempered glass display - really? WOW! not really an advantage but hey.
1500mah battery opposed to 1000mah - Has officially CONFIRMED 1000mah any where?
3.7inch screen opposed to 3.5inch - gee, that screen must be WAYYYY bigger, a whole .2"!
Magnetometer aka electric Compass - why on earth would you want one
AMOLED opposed to LCD - It's a mobile phone, not a TV for home cinema. It really aint gonna make that BIG a difference on a screen that size nor with battery.
256mb RAM opposed to 128mb RAM - Another one, has officially said its 128mb any where?
Proximity Sensor - YAY???

Stereo Speakers-You got that one
Capacitive Display opposed to Resistive-Provides handwriting recognition which HD doesnt. Hd doesnt have multitouch.
Proper 3.5mm headphone jack-Provides a 3.5mm built in headset in the package. Deals with it.
Micro-usb slot-Not something to rant about
Scratch-resistant tempered glass display-SE displays have been scratch resistant for some time now
1500mah battery opposed to 1000mah-Lithium polymer to Lithium-ion batteries. N00bs wont know the difference ofcos.
3.7inch screen opposed to 3.5inch- Can play snooker on the .2 inch screen.A miss by SE.
Magnetometer aka electric Compass-Gimmick
AMOLED opposed to LCD- Some people do like to use their phone under the sun.
256mb RAM opposed to 128mb RAM- The amount of RAM info provided in gsmarena is about the internal built in memory, not the RAM.
Proximity Sensor-Very important.

Okk, now lets get to the plusses of Satio

[*] 12 mp Exmor sensored camera
[*] Xenon flash with led
[*] Direct integration with Ps3
[*] Gesture control
[*] Better, flashier UI with SE's proprietary media player

They're both great phones and underneath the hood are basicaly the same thing, all i dont understand is why SE dont build in a 3.5mm jack, using an adapter is so frustrating and the fastport. . . . . overall id take Satio over OmniaHD any day, but it would have been nice of SE to consider us people who buy 3rd party headphones.

They do! That's why they're providing the adapter!

If the phone had a 3.5mm jack then you could use your headphones but would have to use the phone's mic when taking calls. To get a wired mic it would require another adapter instead of the fastport adapter they provide now.

So in otherwords if they had a 3.5MM jack then it would be more hassle then convenience cause you would need to buy more stuff?

Ok seeing the shots i am convinced that there is NO way this being an exmor sensor...
So what's the difference between 8.0 and 12.1 ......... 3.1 much more noise on the photo ...... That's the truth!

In such a big phone like Satio with entertainment unlimited logo they should have used

-microUSB which is much more usable
-stereo speakers upscaling the experience of watching a videclip or a movie in that huge screen with this big analysis
-oled has nothing to do with the size.. but with the contrast ,angle-view , energy consuption
-i really hope that we are gonna see a 1500mah.... is the least they need to do!

and please SE ... NO delays this time...not a single day!!

Yes, assuming that you do not only use your phone for listening to music but also for making or receiving the occasional call as well, and that you do not always wear shirts with breast pockets where you can keep your phone (to keep the mic close to your mouth). If you keep your phone in a belt case then you need an adapter with builtin mic. Either fastport or 3.5mm - you choose!

WTF? With my NOKIA the remote control has a mic for when i need to use it as a handsfree. The adapter ADDS more wireing making it an annoyance to use. Plus SE could have done what they did with W995, have fast port and 3.5mm jack, simple. A 3.5mm jack wouldnt have caused any hassle, they could just do what Nokia do and add a remote with a mic built-in for when using it as a handsfree.

Well, they could have, but didn't.
Anyways, personally, I think that if you're into taking photos, you should go for the Satio, while if you'd rather have higher quality videos (disputable), you should take an OmniaHD. The other differences aren't that important.
