And it doesn't even have a xenon flash? Total shenanigans.
It's practically useless in low-light conditions.

actually, it captures a lot more light in dim situations without the flash. it was compared with the N82 in the same conditions, lowlighting, and the N86 came out on top with a better quality picture because it was a brighter picture.

here is the link to that test

http://www.allaboutsymbian.co[....]tifying_the_improvements_i.php

as you can see the N86 captures almost twice the amount of light and detail and the N82 is on par with C905 in terms of light and detail capture

Nice one Nokia ,lol you've given the SE Fanboys more things to hate on. they still think a xenon flash is necessary.
Old Nokia new camera? Ye realy was a bad joke since this has new hardware and also an updated version of FP2, with the stand by widgets and FlashLite3.1 ,lol do SE even have a phone built by themselves that has FlashLite3.0 in both gallery the webbrowser?

It is. Boy, if I didn't have a xenon flash on my C905, I wouldn't have been able to take half the pics I have. Same goes for my old K810.

if you look at the comparison from allaboutsymbian you will se that n86 flash is almost as strong as the xenon flash in n82 and that's pretty good for a led flash and enough for most situations

That should mostly be due to an extended exposure time, which in itself deprives you of the ability to take "freeze" shots.
LED flashes are far from being as powerful as xenons.

@Gucci, xenon flash is necessary for all imaging devices! lets not use the triumph of n86 as an excuse to deem it useless, also i seriously believe n86 kicks c905's ass in imaging but what about the highly appraised innov8? did tipa really compared it with all 8mp phones in the market or its just another mockup test like the one they did with n80 when even w800 could better it in most ways.

Radu where is that comparasion of N86's leds strength?
For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice

I dont use the xenon on my K850 realy, nightshots are taken with a digicam. Pics taken when out clubbing with it are usualy over exposed or just dark, thats the only thing i used the xenon for.
