Hadith Qudsi
"The Hadith Qudsi, or sacred hadith, have a particularly important status because their meaning is entirely from Allah (swt) while the wording is that of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself."
Among the many definitions given by the early scholars to Sacred Hadith is that of as-Sayyid ash-Sharif al-Jurjani (died in 816 A.H.) in his lexicon At-Tarifat where he says: "A Sacred Hadith is, as to the meaning, from Allah the Almighty; as to the wording, it is from the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is that which Allah the Almighty has communicated to His Prophet through revelation or in dream, and he, peace be upon him, has communicated it in his own words."

Hadith#1
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him: 'My mercy prevails over my wrath.'"
[Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah)]

SubhanAllah, This shows that the mercy of Allah is far far far more than His wrath. Allah showers His mercy on us, everyday, every hour , every minute , every second, whether we ask for it or we don't. Allah has mentioned in the Holy Quran that if Allah wills, He can punish us for our sins right away. But because of His mercy, Allah gives us a chance to repent for our sins, to get our act straight, so that we can save our selves from the hell fire and yet we keep on doing sins after sins and Allah keeps on forgiving our sins as long as we repent for them. SubhanAllah
May Allah give us the taufeeq to repent sincerely and have all our sins forgiven. Ameen Sum Ameen

Hadith Qudsi#2
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty has said:
'The son of Adam denied Me and he had no right to do so. And he reviled Me and he had no right to do so. As for his denying Me, it is his saying: 'He will not remake me as He made me at first' (1) - and the initial creation [of him] is no easier for Me than remaking him. As for his reviling Me, it is his saying: 'Allah has taken to Himself a son,' while I am the One, the Everlasting Refuge. I begot not nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.'"
(1) i.e., bring me back to life after death.
[Bukhari (also by an-Nasa'i).]

Hadith Qudsi # 3
On the authority of Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhaniyy (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
The Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led the morning prayer for us at al-Hudaybiyah following rainfall during the night. When the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) finished, he faced the people and said to them: "Do you know what your Lord has said?" They said: "Allah and his Messenger know best." He said: "'This morning one of my servants became a believer in Me and one a disbeliever. As for him who said: 'We have been given rain by virtue of Allah and His mercy,' that one is a believer in Me, a disbeliever in the stars (2); and as for him who said: 'We have been given rain by such-and-such a star,' that one is a disbeliever in Me, a believer in the stars.'"
(2) The pre-Islamic Arabs believed that rain was brought about by the movement of stars. This Hadith draws attention to the fact that whatever be the direct cause of such natural phenomena as rain, it is Allah the Almighty who is the Disposer of all things.
[Bukhari (also by Malik and an-Nasa'i).]

Hadith Qudsi # 4
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Allah said:
'Sons of Adam inveigh (protested) against [the vicissitudes of] Time, and I am Time, in My hand is the night and the day.'" (1)
(1) As the Almighty is the Ordainer of all things, to inveigh against misfortunes that are part of Time is tantamount to inveighing against Him.

Asalam o alaikum warah matullah wabrakatuhu
Alhamdolillah Ramadan is coming to an end. Now the real question we should all be asking ourselves is what our course of actions will be after Ramadan. Will we go back doing bad deeds and following the foot steps of devil. Or will we utilize the training we obtained in this blessed month and keep on performing good deeds and getting more and more rewards from Allah. The obvious answer from any Muslim should be to keep on this right path. The devil has been set loose but lets not allow him to control our desires. May Allah protect us from the all sinful acts and from the whispering of the devil. ameen sum ameen.
To test our Ramadan training, we can perform one simple yet very powerful deed. A Hadith to elaborate more on this.
Abu Ayyoub reported that the Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said "Whoever fasts the month of Ramadhan and then follows it by fasting six days during the month of Shawwal will be rewarded as if he had fasted the entire year."
[Muslim, at-Tirmithi, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawood and Ahmad by way of Jabir].

SubhanAllah, What more do we Muslims want. As a Muslim, we anticipate for the month of Ramadan to begin so that we can gain as much as hasant and rewards as possible. and yet Prophet (PBUH) is telling us of an action which will equate to fasting the ENTIRE YEAR. Any rational Muslim won't let go of this opportunity. And to make this more easy, these six days of fasting in shawal can be performed any day (expect for the first day). So we have atleast 28 days to fast, and they don't have to be consecutive days as well. So we can fast on our desire. I am sure by now all of us have recognized why this deed is simple and yet powerful. May Allah accept all our good deeds and help us to fast in the month of shawal ameen sum ameen
Hadith Qudsi # 5
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Allah (glorified and exalted be He) said:
'I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me."
[Muslim (also by Ibn Majah).]

@Brother Caspa
`Aa'ishah said : The Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa salam, used to fast Mondays and Thursdays". [an-Nasaa'i; Sahih]
Abu Hurairah reported that the most the Prophet, salla Allahu alaihi wa salam, would fast would be Monday and Thursday. He was asked about that and he said: "The deeds of people are presented to Allah on every Monday and Thursday. Allah forgives every Muslim except for those who are deserting each other. He says: "leave them for later." [Ahmad; Hasan]
