I've managed to do it now. Theres a program missing from the 1st post that needs to be installed before installing Swiss Manager. ardzuna mentioned it a few posts up. Installed Caps Switch then Installserver Activator. I then installed Swiss Manager without a problem and replaced the installserver.exe file on the C drive which is as far as I've got. I've got the files for the WPV3 and Torch App and going to have a go at doing them tomorrow as its getting late here.
Then, install "Installserver Activator":

After installation, run the application, press "More", then press "Install" and the program will close by itself.
When you have done all this, you will be able to install any UIQ3 application on your phone (doesn't matter whether it is signed or unsigned).
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

Have just installed the torch app and its working. Will come in handy 
Gonna leave the WPV3 files until tomorrow as there seems to be a lot of moving through files and transferring files so looks like its gonna take up a bit of time to do.

All done. Now got the Walkman player installed and in use. Very pleased with it. I wanted the  player because of its ability to Queue music so that I could have a 2 disc compilation play straight through without having to select the 2nd disc and this mod has sorted that for me.
If I do the sound mod is it worth doing on the P1 if I'm using a  HBH-DS205 with HPM-66 headphones attached ?
I also use the P1 with the bluetooth feature on my cars Sony MEX-BT3600U headunit and that already provides great sound so its just the headphone quality I'm wondering about.
A very pleased born again P1i user. So glad I bought this phone again

i don't get the walkman mod. i put one in my p990i and i thought there would be an improvement in sound quality and i was disappointed. the only difference that the walkman mod from the built-in music player is that it's skinnable and has mood visualization, which won't work if your using a stereo BT headphones. i the sound mod and worked flawlessly. i thought it was the fault of my music files but after the sound mod...wow!
being perpetually broke aint half bad...you just constantly try to look at the brighter side of life to alleviate the situation. |

Gud pm, sir what will you do if the license was already expired? Like for example the swiss manager? I already get the files "capswitch and swiss manager", but I can't install them.. Can you help me out? thanks a lot.
