I just upgraded from R3CA037 to R3CA038. Differences between these firmwares? It seems that this firmware is somewhat faster in the menus, but I could be imagining it.

Also, I've noticed that there's an option for the volume of each alarm: "Loud", "Normal", "Modest" and "Discreet". Theese will make the alarm start from no volume and work its way up to the desired volume. Was this in any of the previous firmwares? Anyone else noticed this feature?

Anyway, I've been very happy about R3CA037. No crashes, reboots or hangs whatsoever. Let's hope R3CA038 will do just as fine. Here are some details, if anyone wants them:

Alarm volume is there in 38. Edit an alarm, select the second tab, the one with the musical note and then second option down.

It's been in the three firmwares I've used in my phone.

Upgraded to Voda R3CA033 but now my battery meter is always black and white. Is this a new feature or has something gone wrong?

Mine resets itself frequently, usually when it's just sat on my desk.

I just got my replacement coz the first unit was, in my opinion, was a factory defect. So far my 2nd unit is doing ok except for M2 problem. But it could be my M2 has the problem coz I borrowed my brother's M2 and so far so good. I've got the F/W R3BA035 by the way.

It's available on SEUS. IMHO just a minor upgrade from 037.

hi, new to the site and was wondering whether anyone could help me.

I brought the c902 from vodafone on friday. My Girlfriend had the same phone a few weeks before. Here battery indicator is green, like all SE phones i've had before. Mine is a grey block. Also in my settings, the icons for connectivity and display etc are grey. Her's are different colours. Is this a fault with the phone?

my software version is:

R3CA033
pgr12063992_VODAFONE_AO R3CAO33

EROM: 1200-4341
SEMCBOOT R6A016

Vodafone are swapping my handset as part of the 14 day return but i was just wondering if this is a fault or if its just the version i have.

Also if i'm on the menu and slide the camera open, then close it again the menu shrinks and becomes a smaller screen in the top right.

Many thanks

I read somewhere else about the battery indicator being a grey block on vodafone. Possibly its a small fault in the firmware? Have you got the most recent firmware on your phone?

Its not a fault. Its Vodafone's branding. The battery icon's on the later Voda K750's had the grey/black battery indicator. The grey icons in the menu mean that those options are locked out because of the Voda branding.
