If that is US dollars I simply can not believe the price of the c702 as at the current exchange rate to British pounds the c702 costs $220 = £112.83!!!
(but hey, I wouldn't complain if it was release at that price )
no it is stated that it will be 220£ ... not 220$.
wow. that is 330euro and that's EXPENSIVE. You can get the 6220 classic with 5MP auto-focus + symbian for 350euro. I think the C702 price is the usual SE rip-off pricing.
C702 is 220euro (or are you talking about C902?)... |

well what about OLED display with a good sun reflecting screen.. thats why u can see the display in the sun (on k810), cuz the screen (the protector screeen) is close to the display, and reflecting light. Kinda hard to explain, but it can be done. its called transflective technology |

One the c902, what are the two squares underneath the Sony Ericsson wording at the top of the phone?
They are visible when the camera slides out as well.
Are they some form of sensors? |

For comparison. The C902 is the nearest phone to the K850i specs wise. The C902 is 11mm thick, 6mm thinner than the K850i but it doesn't have video-calling or the Xenon flash.
Other than that there is not much between them.
According to the comparison on the site the C702 doesn't have auto-rotate but you know what the comparisons are like this early on.

Ah, I knew we shouldn't trust the phone comparison on the site.

My mistake for not looking that up myself. I was just goin with what I read in @darknoobs' post, still imo £220 doesn't soound too bad really |

Some words about Flash and pic quality:

...Obviously, the C902 builds upon the same platform as the K850i and packs in a motion sensor as well, allowing the screen to rotate depending on how you hold the device. The handset retains a LED flash, which is here only because they wouldn’t be able to keep the casing small otherwise. Plus the camera module is different, so don’t expect it to produce K850i-grade snaps; however the maker says they won’t be all that worse. On balance, the C902 does a decent job popularizing cameras in mobile phones...
well, from it's size it was very predictable that pic quality is even worse than K850i, plus it hasn't xenon flash. |

what about the c702 it shouldn't be as bad because it's not over-loaded with megapixels it has 3.2mp i was hoping it would have a sony sensor, i think the c902 has a micron sensor that means the c702 might aswell, the k850 has a sony camera module & sensor. |
