and you are wrong...the "p5", uiq device does exist...regarding the looks...have you thought they might have similard designs, but different OS???
like PK said, wednesday will bring more UIQ stuff...here´s hoping that they show the P5 there

Finally Vga recording and playback @ 30 fps
 K700-  W800- [W810]- W200-[ P990]=[Current]. One expert at esato that never lets u down technical-expert. |

It's perfect !!! but it must be too Xpensive=Xperia. It doesn't have 3g, that's bad. and why the hell 65000 colors ??we need more than 262000 not less. Anyway, I'm happy with all new SE phones. Hope nokia has nothing more interesting than SE. |

i mean, there is a "P5" smartphone, with UIQ, not windows mobile, and the design can be very similar to the x1

anyway, i currently own two phones of my own - a k790a and an apple iphone - and have about 2 dozen other phones in my office either awaiting review or needing to be sent back. so if you wanted to call me an SE or apple fanboy that'd be more accurate, I guess, than a nokia fanboy 
i think n95 is chunky, overpriced, and lacks a qwerty board and xenon flash. i think k790 and m600 are two of the coolest phones i've ever used, but neither has everything i want/need. and i really want SE to grab a bigger share of the US/North American market but am worried that they won't do it because they don't release powerful phones quickly enough and/or don't market themselves well enough.
that's it, man, i promise. objective criticism. i'm not a fanboy of anyone but i am a fan of SE (if that makes any sense). k750/w800 and k790, when i first bought them, were my favoirte phones ever. i also really liked the m600 when it came out, even though it lacked a camera and 3G or even EDGE that worked where I live (US).
i'd really like to see a new SE phone that i can fall in love with. i was hoping to see it today, but I don't know if i did.
x1 is close ... but it's months away from being available. i feel like i need to get one in my hands to see if i'll love it or not - i thought iPhone was overpriced and under-specced when it came out. then they cut the price and i tried one out. and now i use it every day even though the camera sucks. |

You really need to read better.
It has quadband HSUPA....and WinMo is technically limited to 65K colors, though the WVGA resolution offsets this.

But I asked him if the X1 was what we thought the P5 was going to be and he said yes this is it.
So your saying there maybe a UIQ variant of this phone?
