The phone is on SE website:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]ones/overview/w760?cc=gb&lc=en
It does mention 3G here and WLAN. Can't see any video call camera, but that is not a requirement for 3G. Look at W950i, it is a 3G phone but no camera period! lol. Give you faster internet access.
Hmm, if this phone truly does have WLAN, then it makes it a well connected internet device then in that sense. You have the option of WLAN, HSDPA, 3G, GPRS! You need it for all those google maps!

There are a few phones on sale that do support video calling, even without having a front facing camera. They still allow the ordinary camera to be used, to send video (or just still photos from your gallery) during a call. That can still be useful for, say, an estate agent showing a property.
Considering what a flop video calling is, I don't think many people will miss it!

the only difference is the macro shots and that's all (don't forget that it is a walkman)
If the sensors, and therefore the actual images, were exactly the same but simply with a fixed focus then I could almost agree - but the sensor isn't the same. The photos will always be inferior as a result.
Now, if SE could find a nice small sensor without AF to fit in a phone that's 1mm thick, then fine, it will have a market - but the one they're using is crap in comparison to what they've used over the years (and how old is the K750? That is still an amazing camera even now!). To be fair, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and HTC etc have all been much the same on their fixed-focus cameras. You can't change physics; small sensor = less light = darker, noiser pictures, or longer exposures and high risk of blurring. Post image processing can only work so well.
I think we'll find that when the W890 comes out, the camera will be nothing like the one in the K800, K810 or K770/T650. However, it isn't the AF causing the problem. If this smaller, presumably cheaper, sensor had AF it would still take worse pictures.

It brings you to the Navigation menu. The walkman button is on the left side, so you'll still have easy access to the player.

@randomcarpet: that's a light sensor for me. all 3g phones with video cameras have been always placed at the top right/left.
i said before that it, probably, doesnt have a camera because that's the american version as they are in Las Vegas.

Ah yes, that's an early version of the new menu look. All the icons should get the reflection once it's done afaik. Also, when you press an icon, it should enlarge to fill up the entire screen while quickly fading out
It will not feature a video call camera (nothing do to with the announcement being in America) and it doesn't have any touch sensitive keys either
