Btw I know this is a really dumb question as the official release date has not been discolsed, but I've been hearing random dates for the release date for this thing; a few of them being in december, only one or two of them saying in august or in about 2 months, and the rest saying in about 5-6 months.
The place where I asked about it being released in august or in 2 months is where I bought my S500; they also stated that it's gonna be $490 CDN with the K850 being $650 CDN; I admit the prices might be accurate, but I'm not so sure that the W910 would be released so soon.
Any thoughts on this? |

Looks like this phone will be available next month as part of the Sony Ericsson ongoing promotion with Orange UK.
Orange first for Sony Ericsson Walkman phones
Orange customers in the UK can get their hands on Sony Ericsson's much-anticipated Walkman W910i phone first, thanks to a talent show tie-up between the companies.
Sony Ericsson is providing a trio of Walkman mobile models to Orange first as part of its partnership deal. The W660i, W580i and W910i will all debut first on Orange - the 3G HSDPA-enabled W910i sliderphone being the highlight of the line-up. The phones will feature links to the Orange Music Store, offering over the air full track downloads
Sony Ericsson and Orange have teamed up to launch a search-for-band talent show for Channel 4 - mobileAct Unsigned - to be shown on T4 and 4music. The sponsorship deal, first reported by Tech.co.uk earlier this month, will give users a chance to vote for the best unsigned bands with interactive mobile internet and websites offering track downloads, info and voting options.
In time-honoured reality TV fashion there's a record contract with a major label awaiting the winners

Can't speak for other networks but I don't think this applies in countries where Orange doesn't operate. I think this is a UK only agreement.

I don't understand why they would release any phone a couple of months earlier just for a specific network,its just dumb.unless orange is coughing a lot of cash ofcourse!

There were some reviews about the sample model, but they are in chinese.
Let me just bold something out them
External Speak: Very good and clear, much better than K800's.....
Camera: Really suckie, no AF, no LED, very easy to get scratched
MP3 Sound Quality: very impressive, extremely close to a regular mp3 player
others i kinda forgot
Rumors are saying that it should be released in HK area around Oct, you guys in europe should get it earlier

this phone is a 3.5G phone, it is also triband or qualband
