I know yeah what is mine in mb, is it 1mb. I am so annoyed i started on 512mb 2 years ago with pipex and they said they'd upgrade but i don't think i have, hmmm.

ermm don't think so.
9000k/s will be like 9mb.... (i think) maybe someone can clear that up?
you said you were gonna cancel last year if i remember correctly?

9mb, really, hmmm. I was but cannot be bothered going into the router and changing sp details and such like. So just left it will be 3 years in October and i pay £70 per quarter.

Dale_jeffs where abouts are you in London?
and fatreg 1000kb is 1mb, so 9000kb will be 9mb
But with kb/s you have to divide it by 8 i think, not 100% about that one tho |

How much is sky per month just for the broadband ie no phone or tv?

@goldenface it all depends how far you are from your local exchange, and i'm not far at all, less than a kilometer so i would say don't expect more than 10mb tbh
@haynesycop you cant get it, only sky TV customers can get it, and for the 16mb package its an extra £10, for the 8mb its £5.
so I'm thinking of moving down to the 8mb one as I'm not getting that much extra now I'm on the 16mb |

if you get 9mb from a 16mb service, you'll get a throughput of about 5mb on the 8mb connection

Why do you say that?
When i was with ukonline on there 8mb service i got 7.5mb most of the time, well it definitely never dropped below 7 |
