All done no problems I CAN NOW CONFIRM W950I CAN BE DEBRANDED using kulankendi.
Also there is only one CDA string now showing, and i finally have RSS feeds, as i say i have only just done this so i am still testing the phone and setting it back up!

Great news W950 confirmed, would expect M600 to be fine too! I'm pretty sure KulanKendi will earn quite a bit of money for this Great work!
Just wish you could pay for credits by paypal/debit card etc and also send credits as soon as paid I used a 3rd party company to get them where it takes even longer then ordering direct because of the payment method.

Big SUCCESS!!! Just Flashed my pfone using kulankendi.. and it was really a big success,, I updated it to seus twice though, just to make sure...my CDA right now is 162007/1 RB03. Quite impressive really, just wasted 4 quid (more or less)compare to £30 that i threw in the bin when i flashed my p910i 2 years ago...

Brilliant news. Thanks for trying it out. I'm going to get my w950i done now. However, just downloaded the KKclient and Kaspersky came up with a warning saying KKclient.exe contains a virus, CryptExe.
I doubt this is a problem but just wanted to raise the point. I'm sure someone can explain why this is happening...
thanks again!

I dumped Kaspersky in favour of NOD32 as I kept getting false warnings with it.

I believe the exe is compressed thus making crappy anti-virus software think its a virus\\trojan compressed to try and get past anti-virus software

My upgrade went well. However, I'm worrying about my RAM memory.
When I bought the phone with an olf fw I had about 20MB when nothing was running. After the first upgrade of the fw that amount decreased to between 11 and 13MB. Now that I've the latest fw, I only got 8MB (12%) free RAM space !!! This can't be serious. Where is the other 88% gone ?
Anybody to explain me why I have such a small RAM ? Or are you all experiencing the same ?
Thanks,

@ Denk there is no need to, if you change the cda it is replaced with startup screen when you update through seus!!

I've just restarted the phone ran SwissManager and closed all apps... I now have 15.1 MB (24%) free RAM... what an improvement !!! Much better. |
