Thanx Tranced  Done flashin to update EROM FOTA, using XS++ 3.1 ...

But when I restart my phone, it still shows the white screen. Nuthin changed at all... may I know why? or what more to do? |

whatcha trying to do?
why dont you full flash the phone? use a FS and a MAIN, then finalize(customize) the phone with xs++.

OK, now we know that EROM FOTA will not solved WSOD. Too bad. Do you still got warranty since at this point you'd better go to authorised service centre.
Have you tried kulan? They change their sequence (not 2 5 together, read manual).
You have newer EROM (R3A016) that is not known to make dead/WSOD phone. As I said don't rule out hardware problem. XS++ seems said that your phone is OK.
You may tried updating your firmware to latest SE official R1KG (that way you can bring your phone to SE service centre later on). One thing for sure is that your firmware is very old indeed. There has been 3-4 major revision.
Edit: Last thing is to take out the batt for a while after every operation to make the phone reset itself properly.

I want to revive my dead white screen only phone 
I plugged it into my computer, but it didn't start normally. Instead, it turned out to be pure white screen with zero activity.
So, I came to read here n there to find a way to revive it...
I'll try to flash it completely just like you sez... thanx for da link. Got them, and now I'll flash it with XS++ 3.1 ... hope it works.. |

Ah.. thanx Hanuguro. But aaa, I dun have any warranty, ehe. Thats why I'm tryin hard to solve it myself, that if I can
So, can I go on with da flash again? fully with Main Firmware n File System? you said that my firmware is very old, so if I flash it with the files given by Tranced.. can it be solved?
And how about the XS++ 3.1 askin to upgrade my CID...? Would it be any good if I done that?

Ah, If you don't have warranty then let's try everything. My concern is that your login with XS went smoothly so software seems fine. (it may be cabling/connection problem with your phone's LCD).
Yes you may try flashing fully. There are two files MAIN and FS. Both must be in the same version Number (eg R1KG, etc). You will need MAIN_GENERIC and FS_EUROPE5 of the firmwares. Don't forget to choose EUROPE5 customization as well in XS++.
You have to upgrade CID as there is no R1KG CID49. You can't put CID52 firmware to CID49 phone.
Finally don't forget to take out batt after operation and turn it on for the first time.
Edit: All your data will be lost with fully flashing firmware but I think it is no concern to you at this point.

With FS_AMERICA.. works too eh..
I hope everybody that have this problem, same as mine.. can revive their mobile once more... |

I am glad it work out. I really have no idea whether XS++ can safely update CID but I read someone has done it before successfully. BTW, it is a really good software.
Well, I suggest you use at least R1KG firmware anyway. Seems lot of place offering EUROPE5 FS with that ver. It is one of the best and SE official latest release. What firmware version are you on now? |

Hy, my K800/10 fall yesterday and it after that it resets itself, over and over again, I've flashed it with firmware and FS but NOTHING. Can anyone please help me? I don't know how to revive it.

Guys, sorry for not replyin sooner.. had some problems with internet connection almost a month!
BTW.. my phone juz get back to it's white screen condition.. it happen when I want to 'restart' my K800... just like that. Why eh? anybody have any clues?

hii, guys my k800i just turn out to be dead!!
when i tried changed my sim card, i think i take out the batt to soon or what.. and the phone just dead, i found the same thing with red led flashing for 5-6 times, and i just take it to SE centre, but they say they can't make the sofware back to the phone?? what do you guys think??
at 1 jan i just updated my firmware with seus and it just went well, actually it my second times updated with seus with the same fimware, btw i had k800i from three (3) so i only can updated the firmware at R1J...
do you think i could updated with wotam if SE centre failed??? |

Hi my K800i is dead again and the thing is i can't install the USB SEMC drivers...it says problem encountered while installing.
Can anyone please help !?

Got this problem: took a picture, picture showed on my K800i screen, which then froze and nothing could wake up the phone. Took battery out, back in, then nothing, just the flashing IR port. Stumbled on this thread, tried WotanClient on Vista and XP SP2, but the only thing I get in the log is the following:

Hi guys, I've got a dead K800i with the red blinking IR light 8-9 times when the power button is pressed. I've tried Wotan and it fails each time after going through a 3-4 minute process of downloading saying that there is an error with the login, even though the bottom right fields are both blank.
Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks |

It looks like Wotan have done something to make you put your account details in. I shall find out an alternative way soon since alot of you guys have had your phones for a long time
