@~DC:UK~

You can understand why people might not like the buttons at first sight - they look very distinctive and unless you actually play around with them, you've absolutely no idea how comfortable they actually are to use.

I like the white K550i. Its the first white phone I think there has been without any orange on it since the T630.

Though i know the phone will be of great quality i think its horribly ugly even though the keys are well spaced. Still you cant judge a phone by its cover.

This phone is STUNNING! It is superbly styled. The k800i is left for dead in the looks department. I love it. Just wonder about the video recording capabilities.

Its the Same as the K800/790.

I prefer the K800 looks actually.

Minimal upgrade just like the T610 to the T630!

Well you can see they are using slightly more expensive materials in this design.

You know the keypad looks very retro. Its like buttons from a midi hifi systems from the eightes. Horrible. Though the space between the each button is good for my big sausage fingers. Dont like that joystick again i prefer a d pad and why is it not 5 mega pixel like Nokia N95. I will not be buying this one i am afraid. Sorry SE.

ok smart ass, what does Firmware updates over-the-air means?

It's the ability to update the phone's firmware by downloading the updates through gprs

K790i and K800i also had that update ability i updated my K790i using gprs it took a while but found it more easer then SEUS [addsig]

all i wanted to say is that.. since it has the Cybershot logo...

i hope it can live with its title. thats the only thing buyers would be grabbin this one... the cam functions... since it doesnt have anything more to offer than the K800.. can we say that it produce better pix than K800?

still.. i will be getting one if it comes out on April or May... but the other thing that concerns me is the keypad... can you really type comfortably with that one?

just look how the bottom keys were shoved way below... i guess others noticed this... the looks are kewl.. but the way the keys are arranged... darn.. its hard to use.

Well I wouldn't really expect this phone to be at all better than the K800i.

All they have really done is add a couple of camera features and give the exterior a make-over so no, if I was a K800i owner I wouldn't upgrade to this.

If I was K750i owner I would as everything is one-step-up.

The K800i is a very good phone, from what I have read here on esato, since it has been launched it has been one of the less troublesome ones. So I can see why would want to extend the life of the original concept - because it worked well.

BTW: It has been priced at 400 Euros.

I really love this phone's design. Like goldenface mentioned earlier that it looks like they've used quality material on this phone. It looks the part. 400eur is not so cheap for a reincarnation though.
