I don't want to sound pesimistic but I don't think many people are going to get hold of them on UK contracts for a couple of weeks. O2 are saying 7th July to me (probably down to network testing) so i'm reckoning another 3 weeks to get hold of one on a contract upgrade for me.

I do think it's really cheeky of O2 to advertise the phone as being available even though it isn't.

just checking around I see Expansys have brought their availability forward from July 12th to this Wednesday, like everyone else, and dropped their price to £389.95

I ordered my K800i on www.freemans.com for £250 on o2 PAYG but when I checked my acount it shows £200 only so I think it's a good deal.

Just got an e-mail from Phones4U:

We can confirm that the k800i is in stock & is very limited stock.

However we have been advised that another deliver from the manufactures has been confirmed.

it is really poor service from 02 to advertise something as in stock when it isn't. fair enough to use upgraders, i can sort of understand, but what about new customers - "oh sorry, it's not available until 2 weeks time"! then why is it on your website?!

x1387 dont even supply a memory stick with their phones. I emailed them asking what memory stick came with it, they said none, hmmmmm...

I think they mean they don't supply any "extra" memory sticks like some of the other ebay sellers

they sell standard boxed phones and I certainly got the standard M2 memory stick with my m600

I think there is just some confusion here because x1387 have been a well respected seller for some years now

masseur,
no, they have clearly stated it doesnt come with one. I emailed them once to ask what size it came with, and they said none. I then emailed again saying it may be in the phone already or osmething. They replied, it does not come with one.

hmmm, now that I think about it I don't know if the K800 does come with a memory stick as I don't recall reading it anywhere and looking at other ebay sales such as this one they don't list it as being in the package contents either

the white paper also doesn't mention anything about a memory stick being supplied whereas white papers for other phones do generally mention it.

have you read somewhere that the K750 should come with a memory stick?

about the k750i, well im pretty sure i saw it somewhere, cant remember though, but i know all sellers were advertising it came with one, especially on ebay.
Some of the k800i on ebay come with 512, but they are hk model, though i have seen a couple with 64mb, i think?

i dont know know why it wouldnt come with one, if everyone else is going to sell them with a m2, and if your m600i from the same seller come with m2, i dont know why its different for this sellers k800i's...

and as far as white papers go, i have never seen them mentioning whether they come with a memory card or not.

thats what I was saying though. some of the ebay sellers are offering different size m2 as "extras" with varying extra prices being added

yeah, the white papers generally say if there is a memory stick in the box, for example here's is a clip from the M600 white paper
