Ok I had this same problem. But now, as what has been suggested, I reflashed my phone back to R1J002 (which was my last reflash). After doing a settings reset, I got my phone back up and running. Thank God!

Now, I've learned my lesson in the past few hours of mingling with my phone and I won't attempt to update its firmware again until it has the best feedbacks from most users.

Same here, failed the update to R1N.
Updating went to 39% then hangs for about a minute and jumps to 42% and a few seconds after it goes to 100% with error message 'failed communicate with phone' or something like that.

Removed the battery as it said and put it back in. The phone works with the newest R1N firmware but the camera isnt working. It says something like 'current version is old (0,9) and should be updated to 4.5'

I want to flash it back to R1L, but after reading the whole thread, the only solution is using the DaVinci program. I don't really feel like to pay 10 dollar for 1 Log Credit, just to fix a fault that SE made. Any other options? Or maybe I should go to the local SE Service point.

Where do I find the locations for the 'SE Care Center/Service Center' in my place or country? I searched the whole website and couldnt find it anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone experiences slow interface in K750i with R1N035 firmware after putting a 10-20MB video file on the phone?

Is it possible to flash R1N035 back to R1L002 without using DVT?

Hi private,

Did you delete the "HL1_125955-HK-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035" file under the software-data folder?
Or you just did an update again and again to see if it works?
So desperate to know as now, I can't use my camera!

i'm very much relieved after 2 painstaking days of flashing.

Same problem here.I have test an mp4 videoclip on both FW (R1N and R1L) and R1L had no problem on vertical view.
After calling SE Center of my country(Greece)they informed me that the R1N is not yet out for customers as official. So we wait them to announce it and get the correct one(without any problems,eg 52%)

Just go to your Sony agreed center, they will flash it for free, it take 15Minutes.

@nokiadingding

i deleted all the files in software-data folder everytime i tried to update.

if i didn't delete them i knew it would stop at 58%. it was a problem from SE side so they may have udated the flash files. i advise all of you to delete the files in software-data folder everytime you try to flash.

Huuhaa, I did try to transfer like 400+MB mp3s to my 1GB memorycard in my phone via the cable. Somehow it died in the middle of the transfer. I then tried to take a look at the MS Duo content in Windows Explorer. Everything on the memorycard appeared to be wiped out for some unknown reason to my surprise. I had to restart my phone again, and fortunately the existing content on the card wasn't lost. I re-transferred all mp3s but only a few at a time. This time, the transfer seemed to be fine.

So I did have some problem with file transfer too, but I am not sure if the cause of your problem is the same as mine. Did u try unplugging USB cable and plug it again at another USB port?

gummcgay, Huuhaa thats sounds like the trouble I have first of all when I copied some mp3s after i updated to R1N is stuff up the memory stick had to format it everything on it was corrupted. And now when I try and trasfer mp3s they are shown in explorer untill i remove the phone from the usb cable then they just disappear. I made a post in the firmware overview about it.
