@ gola,
Eish boet, that remains THE definitive unanswered question. It's not even near market release here in Europe yet (there's still network agreements being sorted out), but let's hope early in 2008. (sez Wanqa while peering into his tempremental crystal ball/s... )

Sorry for the very poor VGA pics taken with the P900, but Carphone Warehouse here now have the S500i for sale for £129.95 (approx R1820)on PAYG when bought with £10 airtime.

That yellow colour all too similar to this fluid:

Also fiddled around with the new Motorola Z8. Physically bigger and chunkier than what I imagined. Such a weird sliding and tilting mechanism.

@ KBR, your N95 battery-saving post... nice find boet, very informative. And yep, i'll be buying MTN shares as well, once i've had a look at the prospectus.

*idea*--> find an ATM in a nice secluded spot, wait until the wee hours, slip on a balaclava then use all those leftover Diwali/Guy Fawkes fireworks to blow that baby wide open
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

@ KBR,
How are you finding the K810i experience compared to the K800i?

Are there even differences? Apart from the obvious cosmetic changes. It's been widely advertised as being available on the Vodacom network.
@KBR786: Is it branded with Vodafone junk?

Dammit! This weather still hasn't made up its mind what it wants to do! N73 pics taken yesterday on the Woolwich Ferry, crossing the Thames River in the Docklands area of east London:

@ gola:
Yup, it has to be one of the most eagerly-awaited cellphones in history. Hats off to Apple.

@ da brixsta,
I wasn't sure about firmware differences between the two, but apart from the slight differences in dimensions and the cosmetic changes already mentioned, there really isn't anything different, spec-wise.

Oh, and we've obviously passed the 4000 posts in a year 'target' already, with nearly 3 and a half months to spare!
This thread's alive...alive I tell ye!

@ Hobz,
Thanks. The N73 pics are OK, I guess.
Has that hyper 12 year old finished reading the final Hairy Squatter book already?

Brix, have you heard of the UCWEB browser? It's easy on the kilobytes, and hogs far less RAM than Opera Mini I've been using it for the past hour or so, not too shabby hey Nige
