You can format the Duo but not the PSP. You don't 'use' any internal memory hence no need to have a format.
Installing a f/w upgrade will probably act like a format.

Alright Mik, I checked out this thread as advised by your good self!
I must admit the psp looks wicked, the DS was such a waste of money compared to this! Are they still avaliable from the guy who got yours for you?
I havnt been on this forum in ages! Spent too long on the corrado forum! haha! |

The PSP is an awsome console corrado, I want one now!
Mik, have you tried this out yet?
it seems that users are getting corrupted data errors when trying to run W-P from the MSD ...some have got past the errors and the game starts to load... but cuts off after the demo.... could be a firmware thing?
You wont need a 2GB duo to try this out tho
W-Pure is only 133MB and RRs comes out to just under 500MB.
worth a shot right?

I hooked the PSP to my wireless router, it detected and connected to the network with ease (though the way you have to scroll through numbers to enter in the I.P addresses is vry frustrating- you have to scroll through 200+ digits, but it's rather quick i guess).
But when i tested the connection settings it understandably said under Internet Connection 'No'. When will you be able to connect the PSP to the Internet for Online play?

no1 is able to play any of the ripped games from the MS at the mo as no1 has worked a way to get the games to launch properly... its only a matter of time though and it will only be available on V1.00 Japanese PSPs anyway coz sony sorted the problem with un-encrypted launches with the V1.50 version FW.... So if u updated the FW or have a US PSP then u aint gonna b able to play homebrew or ripped games off ur MS for a long time... Or until someone leaks the SDK! |

can anybody help me with getting my psp online
i have a tiny desktop pc using a netgear dg834g modem/router and a netgear wg111 wireless usb adapter
i also have an apple powerbook which i can access the internet wirelessly from
i downloaded kaid onto my mac, and switched my psp on to host a game so the green wireless light was active (having got it to detect my wireless setup)
under airport when my psp is hosting a game my netgear connection shows up as does my psp
so i click on psp under network connections on my mac and i loose the internet connection and get signed out of msn
i open and load kaid and amaryllis and login using my xtag
under consoles my psp shows up as successfully configured
but i dont know how to play someone at rr
when i host a game nobody joins it
i also cant understand why i loose my internet connection
anybody who has got a mac and a psp succesfully set up i would really appreciate your help
do i need to buy anything extra, i am going to pc world today so if i know what i need i can get it today
thanks all
