Yeah that's true. As soon as that started we left. I didn't want to stay around for that. Cruising has already got a bad press. Didn't want the police to see a Cruise site there.

ok folks,

just succeeded in downloading files over 3KB from Esato via wap using some settings posted by arnoldc in the 'wap gateways....uk' post...if you already know then why the f*** didnt you tell me

for the record i'm using free wap on Genie and it doesnt involve changing the phone number, i tested this by accessing the KB tester on the Esato wap page.

instructions are as follows:

to create a new wap profile:

wap services -> options -> wap profiles -> add profile

profile name = ericsson
IP addr = 193.95.167.178

to set it as default:

wap services -> select profile

then choose ericsson

KevvyCool,

sure does, seems a bit flaky at the moment, i went for the oscar and tried to download a really large one....should take things in moderation i think.

still cant get over the fact you were at that car cruise thing down in Bournemouth a few weeks back...spooky.

if only i could access the UK Users forum via wap i would have known.

remember that multi coloured BMW Z3? i saw him up this way 2 weeks ago...people get around.

i'm accessing the esato forum via dial up Genie wap...free

Ed,
it may be because your using GPRS why the 3KB limit thing aint working for you.

everytime i try accessing the UK Users post it gives me a 500 error, i thought it was down to the number of posts we had on here but i'll investigate when i can be arsed.
