this is a dead silly question, but I am having trouble getting the battery cover off my s700i - is there a trick to it, something to press, or do I just give it a big 'ol yank?
Thanks in advance!! |

i found it difficult 2 get the back off mine 2 at first. the way i find easiest is with the back facing up & the bottom of the phone facing away from u. put the palm of ur hand flat on the cover push down near the camera and away from u...should do the trick |

I hate taking the battery cover off of my S700! I found the easyest way is to get your finger nail in the gap between the battery cover and the outer edge of the cammera lens and pry it apart.

wooohoooo......two more days before i receive my s700i(after being purchased by my mom on oct.9 in dubai, uae)...my long wait would finally end. im so excited over the fone that i already bought a 128mb memstick duo for it(mem first b4 the fone hehehehe).
btw, has anyone tried out other 128mb memstick duo brand with the s700i? here in the philippines there are 3 brands having this specific memory and built. i got the original sony one since i didnt want to spend money on something that may not work with the fone. the 2 other brands are the lexar and transcend/sandisk memory stick duo which cost a lil cheaper than the orig sony one. this 2 other brands works with the p900 since ive seen people here using it. so has anyone tried it on their s700?
cheers

here in Saudi Arabia the price is around SR3295 which is like $879, is it a good price? or its too much of s700i? the price difference between s700i and p910i is less than $100 !! weird. |

first of all I love all sony phones and I love my S700. However, sony missed up big with this phone... if they delaied the launch and fixes all the small anoying things it had, its would have been 10/10 phone. For some reason... sony upgraded the S700 from the K700 and T610 and left out some of the good qualities with the older phones in tis one. I am really hoping that all of these problems will be fixed with the next update. hofully you can do it through the net in your own computer |

hi there!
did anyone notice that if u sync ur contacts with Outlook, the s700i can only accomodate 510 entries only! anything beyond that, it will not store any further entries, even if you key in manually!!
i thought we would have the option to sync more contacts into the MS as well??!! just like the n7610 where you can store limitless contacts from Outlook.
anyone with a remedy? this is sad....

hi everybody, i am a new user in here and as you read this, you'll notice that my english is not so good, so i apologize for further language errors.
well, i am posting this, with 2 objectives, the first is is to present me in this forum, and the second one is:
since 2 months i have been selling phones in peru (south america), unfortunately the phones here are way to expensive because i must pay the 42% of the phone's value when i bring them here through airmail.
i have been collecting ideas ojn how could i bring them without paying that. if some1 of you have an idea, please share it with me, thanks.
another question i have is, i have selled mi motorola v300 for 350 bucks, which is relatively a good price, now, i wanted to buy a se s700, which would cost me $600. but with the damn tariff i have to pay up to $1000 for that phone, which desappointed me a lot.
in december i am going to germany, which means that i don't have to pay the tariff, so i wanted if you could recommend me a phone, which has a good-excelent display resolution and software.
so, if you have an idea of what phone could it be, please answer me.
thank you all.

@willy17
Do you import mobiles in bulk? If not then perhaps you should consider doing so, you might be able to obtain a discount this way.
When your in Germany in December you should perhaps go to a mobile phone shop and compare some of the mobiles on offer.
