5. I am on O2 but my phone never seems to want to connect to 3G at home or in work but if i pop the same sim card in an old Nokia 6230 it connects to the web via 3G immediately. I have called O2 and CPW but they are saying call the other! Is there any setting i need to change?

Never mind, I found the section in the settings where I can turn on the prompt when I start the phone. |

Hey Caspa, I thought it was too until i tried it in the Nokia. Now im wondering is it a fault with the phone or is it something that isnt activated on the phone or has the Nokia got a better antenna??
btw I did the sound mod lite mod and the walkman is much louder.
Still looking for a profile app though. |

You can also switch to flight mode without restarting the phone, just by clicking on the reception meter or the 3G logo on the top left corner. |

You can also turn on flight mode by pressing the power button once(briefly)(not press and hold). |

I have a problem with text-messaging. The phone always says "sms-storage full", after which I can view the messages. Everytime I delete all of the messages and reset the phone and it doesn't mention it for a while but after 20 messages or so it already gives the notification again. So I can't receive any messages anymore.
Does anybody know how to solve this? |

Bit confused by this. The nokia 6230 is not a 3g capable phone so there is no way you can be connecting via 3g. Maybe when the sim is in the nokia you can get a standard 2g connection but no way will it be 3g.
Sounds like you might not have 3g coverage in your area, o2 does have the worst 3g coverage of all networks just so you know

Finally got my 8GB card in today so I'm playing more with media player and the camera. Anyone come to a conclusion on if / when to use the image stabilizer. I noticed it shuts the flash off. Also, has anyone found any differences between normal and fine modes? Here a couple of pictures in fine mode and macro setting
