With so many complaints on the P990i, does anyone know what are the chances of returning the unit to SE and get our money back? Trying to work out the alternatives just in case the coming firmware upgrade is not up to expectation. |

hmm.. not even if the product is "faulty"? Of course, one could argue that even with all the rebooting, the phone does "work"! After all, all the advertised features are there, just not very usable. |

i never encounter any mobile seller/shop that would put a disclaimer saying.. "Money Back Guarantee" on it.. it's all about luck sometimes either get a perfect phone or a faulty one.. guess you just have one last option, that is to sell it off

I will wait for the next firmware upgrade to see if SE is able to make the phone usable... if it isn't, I will have to start looking for a "smart" buyer to buy my "smartphone" |

Unless you are in the US, where the consumer has the option to return the item bought if not satisfied within 7days.

Locked = Cannot use on another telco provider
Unlocked = Can be used on any telco provider of your choice
To unlock = Lowyat Plaza / Imbi Plaza / Sungai Wang Plaza
*Try Sungai Wang first, but beware when you go to these shops, make sure they don't curi your battery or switch parts from your phone or even swap the whole phone. Make sure you check your IMEI number of your phone before you hand it to them and after you receive your phone back from them.
IMEI = serial number of your phone.
