Hi all!
Just got my S700 today from expansys!!! As soon as i opened the box i was actually quite shocked about how small it was (maybe i just have big hands)!!! I mean sure it packs a little holiday weight sideways but lengthways its quite small...i actually have trouble using the joystick in the middle! (have to use the buttons around it) This brings me to my questions:

1.The joystick keeps getting stuck in the down position when i push it there...does this happen to any of u? It's just a small thing and not so important since i 'd use the buttons around the joystick (unless theres some function that absolutely needs the joystick?) but its annoying...

2. What exactly comes in the box? I got: phone/back casing/battery/32Mb MS duo and adapter/Charger/instruction manual/CD/and earphones...anything missing? any handstarps supposed to come with the phone?

3.I'm actuallly charging the phone right now...booklet says 4 hours but is that enough for a first charge? Any advice?

4. This one's kinda silly but heck...i keep seeing pics of the S700...like the one on page one of this thread...with the joystick having a blue top...mine is just plain, shinny, silver...did ur S700s come with a blue topped joystick?

Well thats it...can't wait for the charging to be over then its Picture Gallore!!!

hey weeD

1. the joystick isnt suppose to be able to move sideways or up and down, its just to push in to select what youve highlighted..you move around using the 4 keys that surround the "joystick"
2. you have everything that comes from the UK packaging, the only way you will get a handstrap usually is if its a model made in china
3. the booklet does say 4 hours, but ive noticed mine usually charges in 3 hrs, it all depends on something..what that is im not quite sure lol
4. and the joystick top should be silver...i dont think ive ever seen one thats blue topped

In the "Model Info" page should appear S700i right?

I also got my S700i today but unlike WeeD, this phone was thicker than I expected
Everything on S700i is nice except from the extremely high price tag it comes with and thickness of it.

It feels so different to have it in your pocket when you are used to have K700i.

I will write more about it after my recharge and when you recharge it for the first time you should always recharge it for over 10 hours.

I'm disappointed!!

i got mine from vodafone and it actually has a handstrap in the box. i'm using it for a week now and at a couple of times when i received a call, the phone would just go off and after 10 sec on again. i think its a firmware issue and it hopefully with an upgrade it will be ok. a great phone but a symbian os would be more than welcome. its the only thing that s700 needs

41Mb? You are confusing with K700. S700 brings 32Mb Internal plus 32Mb Card

1. Does anyone know if it is possible to listent to mp3's through a bluetooth headset on the S700?

2. How good or bad is the loud speaker, is it better then the K700 or is it the same piece of hardware?

3. When using speaker phone mode can the people on the other end hear you clearly?

thanks in advance for the feedback.
