Will be placing my order for the Arc with Clove tommorrow.
I'm wondering whether it will still come out on time? There hasn't been any announcements to say it will be delayed so let's hope not as i am going to order one from Clove soon too once i know for sure that they are coming out on time. |

Xperia Mini vs Xperia X10 vs Xperia Arc Qualcomm Adreno Neocore benchmark results.
YouTube
Neocore results
X10: 21.4 fps
Arc: 57.8 fps
Mini: 37.1 fps
The Arc is faster than the X10, but it does not feel three times faster. So these numbers are lying.
I also run the Quadrant benchmark and got similar results there:
Xperia Arc: 1612
Xperia X10: 511
Quadrant results

Interesting and thanks for result
I just wonder that the Arc has retail software unit yet?
Because little brother Neo screw Desire HD up by above 60 FPS result with pre-release software unit.
With same hardware and optimized (I think) with most of importance identical the Arc should gain above 60 FPS as well.

@mizzle not seen you about in a while! Are we going to see a review/preview on se-blog.com?
And quickly to laffen or mizz, is the silver finish pure sexiness? Compared to say X10 in white?
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Quadrant score is some what missleading? I have gotten 1500 with my x10i on a freash 2.2 rom. And if i install ap2data i will get a few hundred over 2000.
1140 is my current score using a 2.2 rom with all my apps installed
neocore 28.7fps (wolfbreaks's 2.2 rom/current)
Edit, just noticed the date has changed to 03-31 where i was about to pre-order my arc, (from 04-01)

Nah, not on se-blog.com. Pretty much threw that in a dumpster. Somewhere else perhaps!
And yeah, the silver one is pretty sweet. Definitely prefer it over the white X10 in terms of design (and everything else...)

POST camera samples let us see what can it do. If you have a X10 maybe you can do compare shots. Im very curious because so far i have seen only bad pictures taken with the Arc. I couldn't find 1 good/ great picture. So i'm counting on you im bored at work, and have nothing to do so post post post. thank you

maybe i didn't analize it properly, but i see no picture improvement in the Arc. the extra brightness may come from the higher ISO. Any chance to snap some more and even some daylight pictures?

I've been analizing them for some minutes and i noticed that it isn't only ISO related, there is much more noise and less detail in the x10, probably thanks to the exmor R.
Check this out, you will notice the difference between both:

Had a look on the Clove this morning, and at present it is still showing the 28th March. |
