If you want to choose an artist in the media player, can you "search by letter" (like in the phone book) or do you have to scroll down?!

I've had the k770i firmware on my blue t650i for 2 weeks now.

It works fine, except the keypad lights do not show up properly when you are in camera mode which is no big deal.

I tried uploading the t650i lighteffects files to it but it still doesnt work in camera mode. It doesnt bother me at all.

I had to use K770i firmware to get my phone to work properly on the 3UK network.

i found the 3 Branded firmware for k770i on wotanserver ( i had to edit the wotan config file to make it show k770i firmwares)

I flashed the files but did not 'complete/customize' the phone so it didnt use my credit. I then finalised the phone with XS++

this way i still have a credit for the future

I then edited the customize.xml to re-enable flash menus.

Is there an easy way to flash your phone with the k770i firmware without all the editing? That sounds too advanced. I don't care about the lights or the menus.

Darn, that sucks if you're to get a 8 GB M2 and fill half of it up with music.

I'm new here. I got the blue one. Great phone:) I wish they release new bodies for this model. I'm thinking a black anodized aluminum for the upper part or a copper finish. I'd definitely would buy those even if they set the price at a premium.

Gripes on this model so far is the battery life. Its a power hungry gadget. Using it for music around 2-3 hours nonstop and some texting and camera work, it wont last the day.

Another thing is the "pouch" that came along with my unit. GEEz! talk about poor quality! My unit snags everytime I take it out. It kind of makes you think your phone is really fragile as you take it out of the pouch.

Anyone got any gossip as to how long this is gonna be exclusive to CPW.
Im on a contract with O2 online and after a complaint they said i can have a new phone whenever i find one. As i dont fancy the K850I cause of all the apparent problems with it this one has held my attention for some time.
However im loathe to cancel my contract and get another as im on a good deal at the minute (due to another complaint!)

-maybe you just have to condition your unit. notice how youre the first to complain about the poor battery life. im sure others will echo how good it is (batt life). on a full charge, i run streaming stereo BT headset for 2-3hours, 100 sms, a game of 3d golf, 1-2 short calls and im still at 75% full at the end of the day
