Hey Heitat! Welcome! Oli has to update the Thread with your name. Will be good to have an "insider" here! We promise to be nice. hehe. Whats the buzz in Voda about the B&W network startin up?
Hey jism. not really much buzz about the B&W network starting up with us at the moment. I'm a part timer so and i study at AU during the week so maybe I've missed the news about B&W lol.. i think vodafone would like the more networks starting up in NZ anyway.
Welcome to Esato! I have added you to our New Zealanders list. It's good to have you here mate. The C702 is a great phone from what I hear, and coming from your Motorola, I can guarantee you'll love it! So what's it like being a Vodafone rep? Any sweet perks to the job? Any crap bits?
Thanks Oli for adding me. yea i'm really excited lol but still have to wait another couple of weeks before i can get one. cause i'll be getting it at a low low price and thats one of the sweet perks. craps bits are usually grumpy customers but 90% of the time is all fun. Its a cool job and i do like it.

Haha, reckon! Especially since Im hoping to be with them in a few weeks too! What area in Auckland you workin in Heitat?
Im hopefully going to be in South Auckland. Thats where the fun is! haha - Mind you, London has been the funnest place to work. You want weirdos and angry customers you come here! Had phones thrown at me, customers yelling so much they start hyperventilating, people saying "F**k off" when you approach and say "Can I help you with anything today?" and one guy started a fight with me because I wouldn't put his phone on charge!. I can tell you these are daily things and everyday is something different. Hopefully South Auckland will be the same! haha

All you'll have to look forward to in South Auckland is armed robbery I'm afraid. Methamphetamine has society's morons killing for cash these days.
Retail and Account management is heading into a tough time here in NZ. Gadgets are still selling but for how long if people can't get credit?

wow jism thats some crazy customers in london lol.. I work on queen st and i've worked up in k rd as well.. seen a few weirdos, homeless, psychos, drunks and strippers come into my store LOL.. girls and bartenders from the white house usually comes in on a Saturday and mess around in the store still drunk haha but nothing to that extreme lol. but we do get a lot of dummy phones stolen -_- I don't get those people stealing dummy phones for what?
I have heard they take dummy phones from vodafone stores then they would go to those parallel imported phone shops so they can steal their display phone by replacing it with our dummy ones. not 100% sure if that is true or not.. lol sounds quite cleaver though

Yeah I saw that too. Pretty funny right there. I showed my brother on his (my old) V630i and he was like "man that's gay". Hahaha. I guess he's kinda right about it. It's kinda nerdy.
On another note, I saw my first 'H' for HSDPA just a minute ago on my C902! Woo! Finally my area has HSDPA coverage! Even if I have to walk around trying to find it! Anyway it disappeared before I could check out it's speed. Damn.
