Nice one Rikken, GS4 BE is stunning, wouldn't mind getting my GS4 that back cover.
How awesome is KitKat!?
Enjoy it!

I really prefer that over the back of the S5, looks much more premium especially in black.

It's been a while since I've rundown my GS4's batt, so I decided to do it today. For a phone that is now almost a year old, battery seems to be still great:
Was suprised it managed to get 6hours Screen On time:
BB also seem to have made BBM a lot more frugal, usually its at the same point as Android System, and I used it quite a bit today including to share some media.
I wish smartphones could last a week with this usage.

6 hours !? what brightness did you have it on ? my S3 can run down its battery in less than three hours with brightness on automatic / medium. That is reading some white webpages though.

It was on Auto brightness as I was up and down all day so left the screen on Auto. I had used the phone throughout the day to Instagram, BBM, WhatsApp, Tweet, a couple of calls and a bunch of web browsing. I generally use Opera Mini to web browse so that may help, as i go in and out of WiFi, HDSPA+ and EDGE areas, it helps to use a browser that compresses data and keeps the browsing experience consistent no matter the connection.

Have to admit, that's very impressive screen on time. |

Thanks for that screenshot Tsepz.I had almost forgotten about Operamini.Haven't used it in an age.Installed it and I must say from the last time I used it the experience is a lot more pleasurable.Cheers.

Mine is mostly at work if im bored with little work to do. The bright indoor lighting means the screen stays bright when on automatic so I should probably turn it down though. No wifi either so its all 3g browsing.
I haven't tried using a different browser from Chrome to see if it has an effect on battery life. I stopped using Opera about 18 months ago.

Awesome, you see it got an update today? Seems to be a bit smoother, been using Opera Mini since my SE W800, and have installed it in every phone I've had since, I just like how it works.

Yeah heavy 3G usage can guzzle a lot of battery, especially if you sit on social networks, web browse and stream.
I personally use Chrome or the built-in Samsung browser when I just want to quickly Google something or going to a website that relies heavily on Java Script.

Oh wow
Well glad to know my yearold phone still holds it's own amongst the newer beasts. I wonder which S4 they used? S600 S4 with Exmor R or Exynos 5 S4 with Exmor RS.
Still very happy with my S4, the excitement of the S5, Z2 and One M8 just hasn't got me, I've read as much as I can to see if I can warm up to one of them and upgrade to one of them, but each time I'm left feeling 'Meh', there's an upgrade I can take right now and another in mid July, but the Note 3 is now a bit too old (too S4-like) and everything else just doesn't strike me. Last time I had upgrades like this I got a W800 and months later a W900, was pointless as they were pretty much the same, although I thoroughly enjoyed both.

Phonearena are a load of crap though because in other comparisons the Xperia Z1 beat the S4, LG G2, 5S etc. |

I have both Note 3 and Lumia 1520 and no way Note 3 takes photos as good as Nokia in Low light. Also it seems like if video recording iscoring s taken away Lumia 1520 comes on top. Samsung S4 has a nice camera but no way is better than Nokia''s |
