I have a v8 right now and hates everything from it apart from the looks.. so i'm looking forward to get the C702... |

@heitat: Welcome to Esato! I have added you to our New Zealanders list. It's good to have you here mate. The C702 is a great phone from what I hear, and coming from your Motorola, I can guarantee you'll love it! So what's it like being a Vodafone rep? Any sweet perks to the job? Any crap bits?
@JiSm: I think my girlfriend and I are going to have to pass on your W880i offer at this stage. She just went out an bought an iPod Nano so I don't think she's interested in a new phone anymore. Really disappointing for me cause I wanted to play with it, and I don't know why she wanted the Nano so bad when it was almost no upgrade at all from her old one. Women...
Sorry to disappoint you mate. I'll let you know if she changes her mind again!

No worries Oli, I know how women are! haha. Im gonna be finishing off the planning/setting up of my wedding for the next few (5 or 6) weeks so unlikely I will get time to sell the w880 or w890! Never know your luck, I might feel generous after the wedding and sell the w890 for the same price instead! haha.
Which Ipod was it? The new version Nano?

Thanks for putting the offer out there anyway! I know that if she had decided to go for it, it would've been one of the best deals we'd get! Yeah she got one of the new Nanos in yellow. Which was a bit silly in my opinion because she had a perfectly good 8GB 3rd gen Nano before that, and then she bought the 8GB 4th gen, so no real upgrade apart from the accelerometer based features which she now says she finds annoying!
Congratulations on your engagement and your wedding mate! Are you getting married in New Zealand then?

Wooo! Its that (play) time again! Playtime 2008!
Hopefully I can win me a few more goodies this year! But it normally means staying up really late at night to get in on anything. Eying that speaker though...

Yup, on the 29th of November. Leaving here on the 27th Oct and having a week in Hongkong on the way back. Honeymoon in Tonga on some island with nothing but a restaurant and 12 beach huts! Talk about privacy. Should be good!
In saying that though, I have 2 weeks to figure out how I get an X1 or C905 before I leave. After paying for the wedding there aint much pingers left to spend on gizmos. Will see what I can pull out of my contacts here... hehe

Wow, that sounds awesome! And expensive!
Maybe you could score the phones as leaving gifts... You know, drop hints wherever you can!

Yeah they're almost always in our night time. Be careful, they're addictive to want to wait for. Last time I won a couple of things, but I was staying up til 3am and 4am some nights just waiting for the Playtime threads to pop up!
