a few people have managed to get a hold of the K700, though only prototypes AFAIK. As has been said many times it is suppose to be available Q2 2004 which at this date means June though I suspect in some countries it will be a little later
I don't recall any  phone where anyone has known any firm release date. We only know its available when someone has actually bought one online or in a shop and reports it here

That indicates that if you press the joystick you will be taken to the menu screen. Its a feature on the t610/30 too

No - the K700 is not a smartphone - its not based on symbian or any other smartphone OS.
