Should be out very soon for you Aussie, but then again, there's no shame in downloading an official ROM of another region and loading it with Odin, that's what I did as I couldn't wait.
Anyone planning on getting the Galaxy S5? Must say, the rumors of it possibly using a standard Snapdragon 800 or Exynos5420 are worrying me, if that's the case then I'm waiting for the Note 4 with new Exynos 6 or S805, there's no way I'm buying a phone in 2014 with a chip released in mid 2013. In early 2013 the Galaxy S4 I9500 ran the most powerful chip at the time, the Exynos 5410 despite being "crippled" it managed to be more powerful than the S600 at a lower clock and was a brand new chip in 2013 and was eventually overthrown by the S800 in late 2013 another chip that was brand new in 2013, now it seems due to Qualcomm slowing down that we will have merely refreshed devices with the same S800 chip.

+1
The screen is another major point, people say FHD is enough, but I say push the boundaries, bring that Quad HD.
Couldn't be bothered WRT Plastic or Metal, it's an argument created by Apple fanboys and Samsung haters, we've seen multiple times that a metal device doesn't mean it's strong or premium and that metal can create signal problems, so if the S5 is plastic then happy days!
I hope tomorrow's Exynos announcement brings one hell of a chipset with a Broadcom global LTE antenna, I know Samsung fixed the whole CCI issue, so if we get a A53+A57 Octa chip I'd be incredibly happy, if not, think I'll wait.

Formatted my phone today to get a fresh start on KitKat, I had totally forgotten about the whole Camera lockscreen thing until now...
For those who want the clean lockscreen with Camera shortcut:

Hi Aussie
What I can confirm is that I'm still able to move apps to SD, I just did that to Angry Birds Seasons and it ran fine, what I have noticed is that some apps, mainly Backup apps don't even find an SD Card, both my MyBackUp and App BackUp&Restore simply don't see it, yet weirdly enough SMS BackUp did see it and allowed me to backup to it and restore from it, which confuses me, but what I can tell you is that I have not any SD card issues at all so far. All my music is there, I have been transferring files to and from my SD card without a problem, so I'm rather lost as to what the issues are.
What I'm guessing is that Android no longer allows apps to write data to the SD card e.g. when you download a file, but then hasn't Android been like that since 4.1 or so??? It's all quite puzzling.

The rumours are always silly for all new devices. I saw the rumours of the S5 using a S800 chipset and thought what the hell ? surely that wont last a year.
I cant see it happening, im sure the S5 will without doubt have the new 64 bit Exynos or a variant of Snapdragon. TBH it doesn't matter much to me, its not always about raw power, its about what new features and functions the phones bring. The one thing im dreading the most about the S5 is if Samsung keep the same design as the S3 and S4. I would like a redesign, bigger battery, OIS and a Xenon flash.

Be prepared to be slightly disappointed:

Lol, if that's really the Galaxy S5 I damn sure hope it has some ridiculously powerful hardware, the bezel looks no smaller than S4 and design is pretty much the same
If it has a S801 chip I'm not touching it, waiting for Note4.

You beat me to posting the leak on the S5. I am not impressed by the design at all. I hope that the software changes/improvements go as far as they need to. Touchwiz as it is now is old, takes up too much RAM, slows the phones too much and is not as nice as others. They seem to have changed it. Hope it is not heavy as on my Note 3.

So apparently benchmark boosting in Samsungs has ended in their Android 4.4.2 update FWs, yet the funny part is that my S4 has been scoring the best scores it's ever had, almost hitting 29000, some at XDA are getting 30000 on the Octa without root, very intriguing.

Quadrant
With the S5 not being what I wanted, I'm sticking with my trusty GS4 Octa until the Note 4 arrives later this year, luckily Android4.4 KitKat is the latest Android version around until later this year apparently, so not missing out on anything in the new phones announced at MWC, heck even the HEVC H.265 format that people are raving about in the new phones has been supported by the I9500 since last year. Just have to sit back now and hope we get some awesome real beasts in H2 2014 running on S805, Exynos 6 and Nvidia K1, the more I think about it the more I realise how epic H2 will be this year.
