N86 is good cam actually very good but a bit heavier than w995 at 149g and s**k music playback.

W995 is great for music solution but less quality cam than N86.

Both this just 8mpx but doesn't match up for each other. It's good in their own way.

For above guys so much complains quite boring, Why don't you check it out before you pay it sth like snap on speaker and HPM-88 is special package for selected marketing campaign don't you know about that.

Thanks HxH. I love look and feel of w995. But N86 is powerful in browsing bec of flash support. And leave about the video recording. GsmArena review rates n86 has good music quality. Ya i know its smart phone but who cares whether its smart or feature phone they look only for features.i don't understand if a phone has good music capability will not have a good imaging capability! If so whats the point in putting such 8mpx sensor with low quality. If its feature phone whats samsung and LG does? I'm not supporting other manufacturers rather worrying about the SE's way! 80% thinking to buy w995. But 50% N86.

North and South America use these 3G & 2.5G bands: 850/1900Mhz for GPRS/EDGE/3G/3.5G.
North America includes Canada, USA, Mexico!
South America includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Guyana, etc.

Please STOP thinking the American continents ONLY includes USA/America. Not only does it make you sound uneducated when clearly your speech states otherwise - it continues to spread misinformation or the center of involvement of technologies or economic centre of this continents are only focused on USA. News flash many countries are now heavily considering on using another currency as the staple against which all others are judged - the greenback is no longer the pinnacle.

Excuse me and thank you for the correction!

I got the information when I looked it up online and called the USA North American SE Tech support center!

Maybe they should be "politically correct" as well with the information they provide to SE owners!

Here's a news article clip:

Sony Ericsson W995a has been revealed by FCC. This device is Sony Ericsson W955 Walkman variant for North American.

The high end slider is featured with 8.1 Mpx snapper with autofocus and LED flash, face detection, geotangging, quadband GSM/EDGE, 2.6 inch QVGA resolution display, dual-band HSDPA access, WQVGA video recording at 30fps, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.

Don't start bashing people when it's the media that's reporting the information!!

Sorry but I was correct and will start stating FACTS when someone uses sourced information WITHOUT sourcing it when originally posting. Your original post I quoted said NOTHING about getting it from another source - only after the doing so did you post the source.

The problem is you took it as the only source - you being from europe - looking up an FCC sourced data from a news article. The problem is you did NOT state North American you stated America which is a mis-nomer of a continent - it doesn't clearly specify WHICH continent (North or South) in your original post.

Sorry guy - as I stated it was a rant. Rant being a brain fart, a fit if you will. I had this fit because your post lacked the source, and also lacked correct continent designation of the bands used (which btw: T-Mobile USA uses AWS 3G bands on 1700/2100Mhz - 2100Mhz not compatible with Europe/Asia's bands).

Mojo ... you need to grow up a bit and stop claiming people are "bashing" you when their simply just correcting you.
Politically correct is pretty snide and childish and completely unrelated.

Try this as Sony Ericsson has Media Sync for MAC:

Please post a review after using! Thanks!

I tried it, easy to use, it can copy to your phone or sync your media with Itunes.

Anyway inserting your card and drag 'n' drop is much faster.
And the video podcast was refused, so it's for music only.
Lets say it's a 1st step by I'll wait for step 3

Return the phone to the phone shop since it's so new! Either the phone store should offer a replacement or a repair! Period!

The slider should be fine and solid (knock on wood)!

Usually the sliders are terrible on the low- to mid-end phones but since this is considered the "flagship" SE phone for 2009, it should be rock solid and tight!

BTW... You're 16 yr old and could afford this phone?! .......

..........

I'm 16 and i got over 4 walkman phones. So?

I'm 16 and I've had around 30 phones this year (but I'm reviewer...) Own a lot phones myself, too, though. 9 of which one was a gift from Sammy. But everyone in my school is walking around with expensive phones and that's not because everyone in my school is reviewer

No, I'm no patriot. I like the last part of that word though; RIOT, as a matter of speech. To get back on topic, do I wait for Aino or do I throw my K850 in the river and get the 995. Btw have you had the Aino, as a reviewer? Nice job I guess.

Nope, usualy only get phones that are out on the market But I think it's a lovely device, can't wait to get it A nice job it is, though it gets a bit boring after time since the software and interface stuff is the same with many phones Great to have another phone every 1.5 week, though

I think you'd better get W995. Seems to be a more balanced package to me. Oh, btw, don't throw you K850 in the river, i'd be happy to give you some money so you can ship it to me
