Not all that bothered about the small screen on video myself. I have a p900 as well so if i want to watch full screen i would use that.

i got my s700 from vodafone today and it's really cool. much like a k700 (which i own as well) but in a slightly wider version when its folded..same menus but a wonderful screen(the best i've seen). the camera is stunning and takes excellent pictures both in dark and light. movie clips are the same sizes as in a k700 but that's ok with me. excellent phone |

I went into The Link today to look for a case that would fit my S700. The 2 kids behind the counter looked at me in amazement. They asked if I had one and when I told them I had it for a week they looked shocked. When I showed them the phone they couldnt stop drooling. I was surprised that this was the first time that they had seen one.

JC , had mine since Tuesday, and its the same wherever you go. People just love the look of this phone ! If theyll only drop the price a bit more, itll be a winner.
I did rather well with mine, £ 119 from CPW, on O2 250. Also got a 128 stick for £25.
If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes ? |

How do you get deals like that? Will they shift on the brochure/website prices? How did u get that deal?
I didnt think you could barter with them on new contract prices :S |

Hi everyone. Congratulations for all of u who already have the S700 (a bit late i knw...) and good luck for those whho are trying to get it! (i fall in this category).
I live in Switzerland and was wondering if anyone knew where i could get one thats not Vodaphone branded. If its a physical shop or a trustworthy internet shop...just as long as its the model for Switzerland and its not branded. Otherwise i'd have to wait a very very long time...its out 18th of october BUT with Vodaphone...and as for without...they don't even know yet!!! :'( |

well if your looking for an unlocked s700 why dont you try ordering it off of www.expansys.co.uk (i dont know the expansys version for swiss) |

@westmini: Cool thx for the idea...i went to the Swiss version (expansys.ch) and they had it...only problem is that the sites in German and i speak French. Is this a trustworthy site? And if i do get the phone from the U.K. site will it work here in Switzerland? (as in does it use sim cards because i saw it says sim free...and i dont really know what that means...sry i'm not very good with the terminology)

Basically it means, it doesn't come with a sim card, you just use your old one, therefore buying a UK phone shouldn't make a difference. Even though i can't speak for the swiss site, Expansys are very reliable.

@maddav: Ok thx alot! Will order it first thing when i wake up later today! I've been waiting a while for this n i'm so happy to finaly get this phone! 3 years with an Nokia 8310 is worse than hell AND pinaple on pizzas put together!!!
(no offense meant towards nokia fans or pinaples....yes thats right, pinaples...and now that i've misspelled "pinaples" 4 times i think i'll end this post lol)
