I got email today from SE regarding the pre-order of Xperia Arc starting from tomorrow with some benefits as can be seen on this picture.

I agree they shouldn't put that kind on plastic on a phone with such a high price in the market, the back just looks like a slippery finger-print magnet

All  new Xperia phones have horrible glossy black plastic which attracts finger prints & gets dirt stuck in gaps between the screen & around it. They get soiled easy.

Of course this applys to The Midnight Blue not the Misty Silver.
EDIT:
It's not just Sony Ericsson though whose high end phones are of plastic build....what about Samsung and LG for example.

really like that it shows everything on tv that is displayed in the phone.
still curios if other video players will be able to output 720p or is it always 720p.

just read a review about the arc. Ok phone, but the camera... well it sucks. As usual on SE phones.. The white courtain is back again in this phone (as was on the K810). http://hi-tech.mail.ru/review/misc/SE_Xperia_arc-rev.html
Pretty cool, but pity for the camera. And that backlit sensor: is a huuuuge gimmick.
