All this sounds very immature but also very funny. My favourite sort of practical joke.
I got my T610 a couple of days ago (my first device) and I'm off into the city center tomorrow so I'll do my best to Bluejack a few people. My mate's getting a new phone while we're down there, so I'm bound to find a connection in the phone shop.
I've left my phone's visibilty on as well, It would be just as funny to get a message yourself one day as you'll be aware of what's going on. |

Massive jacking opportunity in the form of a Sony junxion stand outside Haymarket Metro in Newcastle? Hopefully they'll have some jackable toys on there and they'll not be wise! :-)

mredd27, in the phones the Bluetooth On function only works for the paired devices, no one can find you this way. if you want to be found, you have to turn on Discoverable mode every 3 minutes but maybe the t610 is different.. t68i works that way. |

Could anyone be so kind as to help me out? I'd like some advice on which SE to buy? Either the T68i+click-on camera OR the T610.
1.)As far as I can tell, the picture quality of a photo taken with the click-on camera is BETTER than that of the T610, but ONLY if the picture is viewed as an e-mail attachement ( T68i=small screen).
Right?
2.)Both are equally good at bluejacking BUT the T610 has a permanent search mode? Or a permanent BT-on mode?
Anything else important you think I should know about?
Thanks,
Ken

Thisco: the t610 is way better, and you can attach the mca25 cam to it also! (as far as i know).
iw: you can bluejack only nokia phones, because of their dumb insecure option. |

Correction: the MCA-25 is not compatible with the T610. It's been tried by a few ppl, as you can read here.
I'm sure, when you think about it for a second, you would reach that conclusion all by yourself as well. Why would a phone with buil-in cam be compatible with a press-on cam?

I'm really looking forward to bluejacking in the near future
It was a pity I didn't have access to a BT-enabled phone today, because Nokia had a promo-stand showing off their new, 'revolutionary' and over-priced brick in town
Better luck next time.
By the way, is anyone here from Belgium? If so, how is the success rate on bluejacking?

Can i with an notebook and an Bluetooth USB Stick with an sending area of 100meters bluejacking an person that is 80meters far from me? The mobile phone from the person can only sending 10metes. Does my vcard receives that person from the notebook?
Now the question: if i sending an vcard from device 1 to device 2, do both devices communicate between 1 device is sending an vcard to the other device or is the second device only receiving the vcard. |
