thats a kewl idea... if only we can extract the K850 camdriver....
bear in mind that the hardware in K850 is not the same in K810...
unlike K800 and K810, theyre like brothers....

But how about the sensor ???,
I think K800/k810 only have 3mp sensor not like k850, have 5mp ??
Or maybe we can interpolate the 3mp --> 5mp , ???
Like N95 did

its not superb at all,compare the latest k800 image quality (not image size!) to the k850 and you'll see. |

k850 is same as k800, only a few extras. Same shitty camera, and no carl zeiss. Have to wait for the next cyber shot if u want GOOD pictures. |

Beavis or Butthead, K850 is Cyber Shot 5mpx camera. Carl Zeiss is not a factor for a good camera. |

dude lens are the "key" in photography. K800 has poor quality lens (+sensor). We at college use carl zeiss jena optics. I can tell the difference between a noname optics, and jena lens. Optics ARE very important in cameras. (the material, the shape, the transparency, the cleanness, etc. of the lens). Nokia makes good pictures thanks to the lens.
P.S. Carl Zeiss invented its lens back in early 1840. (shaped them and all).
Even in 2007 we use them in microscopes, binoculars, etc. They are good quality lens, made with care and precision.

K850 is NOT a 5mpx Cybershot! Its a tiny cheap nice CMOS sensor... not CCD from sony 
There are some other good lens around beside Carl's, but not on phones |
